Sounds great -- the playing is so consistent, all the hits. Just simple and solid. Wonder if they used a click, if not -- very impressive.

That's really good! You wouldn't happen to have something from Michael Shrieve when he played with Santana, would you? He's incredibly good, it's a shame he's underrated

There is a relic every so often that hits about a 8th note or maybe 16th note after some snare hits. It almost even sounds like echo or reverb its so quick but also in-time. So odd it makes me feel like an unintended relic from a cut and tape that was buried in the mix. Whatever it is, I love that technology has made us fortunate enough to hear every detail of such an amazing piece of art

Yeah i learned things from Nicko, some technical stuff mostly, but Clive had the feel and Clive was not a slouch technically either. I am so happy that Clive is finally being recognized. That guy was just a natural drummer, inventive as shit too! Clive liked to do that snare+floor tom on the 2s, and his tom rolls that begin with a flam / triplet....classic Clive. I think Nicko copied that tom roll from Clive, i think everyone copied it from Clive actually. Clive, when i was a kid playing drums, that hihat part at the end of Run to the hills, it always killed my stamina, hahaha. You balmy bastard you 😂 Rest in time 🥢 UP THE IRONS !

It's great to see that so many people understand Clive is the best Maiden drummer. It'd be easy for non-drummers to be attracted to Nicko's flashy chops, but he played all over the top of the song, whereas Clive understood the assignment and supported the song. Amazing, tasteful drummer. If only more metal bands could have the musical touch and songwriting ability these guys once had
