Very nice video. But just for reference because I've heard Americans and Canadians pronounce the first syllable of Galway incorrectly, it's not Gal as in My Gal, it's pronounced like the word shawl, like gawlway.

Hi, thanks for the view, comment/question. Budget Rentals on 12 Eyre Square, Centre, Galway. I was very close to our hotel in town center, and the cars and return are a few blocks away - and that was my criteria when choosing. Have a GREAT trip, I look forward to returning and traveling the south. You will see, Ireland is magic and amazing diverse in what you experience - not to mention how fantastic the people are! My family (19)of us are going to Limerick, Ireland in June and I am wondering what time of the year you were in Ireland ? My grandmother came over to the USA during the potato famine of 1898 and she married our grandfather in Chicago then moved to central Minnesota. We are really looking forward to this trip and if you could give us more ideas for our trip that would be awesome. Thank you for sharing your trip ! Slainte !

When I do genealogy on my family lines, I am amazed at what our ancestors endured to allow us the life we life now. #grateful It also puts our problems into perspective. If you're after spectacular views and scenery you'll see lots of it all along the Wild Atlantic Way. If you're planning to visit the East Coast I'd highly recommend Brú na Bóinne Visitor Centre (Newgrange and Knowth - must be pre-booked) and the National Museum of Archaeology in Kildare Street in Dublin. The museum is free and doesn't need to be pre-booked and its absolutely full of artefacts from the stone age, bronze age, iron age, early medieval, medieval and up to more recent times and of course everything you see will be part of you and your families Irish heritage.

Are you still free of coughing since this video. I had covid 6 months ago, I've been coughing ever since. I'm thinking I may do this. i've intermittent fasted several times. nothing past 24 hours. so maybe its time for me to extend my fast

After that 3 day fast my body healed itself to about 80% - which I was thrilled about. But guess what, 3 weeks ago I got CoVid again (10 months later) and I am still dealing with a 'new' lingering dry irritating cough. SOOOO tomorrow I will start a 3 day fast and see if my body will correct itself again. I will let you know. Thanks for watching and commenting! Lisa ;-)

Loved this video. I am scheduled for my 2nd trip to Ireland in August, and have already started plans to go back next year. I doubt if I will be able to see Downpatrick Head this year, but am adding it and County Mayo to my wish list for next year after watching your video. Thanks for posting.

I am a proud Canadian. I am proud of all my 4 grandparents heritage, 3 of them immigrated to Canada and 1 is indigenous to Canada. Humbled by the sacrifices and strength it would take to make to live in those days. Thanks for the comment.
