What business of it is yours? Who made you be the African god of health and well-being? These cultures are thousands of years older than American culture, so why do they need you to educate and preserve them as a people? Why not do studies and videos of your own alcoholic and drug abusing culture in America? Why go to Africa to use them as point of reference?

As a person living in Taiwan through out this pandemic, up until today, 95% of the the population is wearing a mask, even outside! Life is completely normal in all our cities. All children are going to school. Pubs and restaurant is operation in at their normal hours. Up until today, we have 609 cases, 90% came from abroad. 7 people had died from COVID. So pls, mask works
@FormerTrucker4 жыл бұрын
It wasn't because of the mask when you breathe in a mask you feel air go up by your eyes as well as down below the virus still escapes the virus is smaller it can pass right through the mask.
@JuvenileStay4 жыл бұрын
@@FormerTrucker What we use in Taiwan r surgical masks, it is a loose-fitting disposable mask that protects the wearer's nose and mouth from contact with droplets, splashes and sprays that may contain germs. A surgical mask also filters out large particles in the air. Surgical masks may protect others by reducing exposure to the saliva and respiratory secretions of the mask wearer.

Although I wasn't able to attend live, I am so happy that it was posted here so I can learn from the advice and tips. Thank you to all the panelists for sharing and to Jessica for guiding the conversation, and contributing as well!

Laggards Are Liabilities: Those who fail to recognize the value in wearing face masks are either ignorant and/or naive. This makes them a danger to those they come in contact with because they’re more likely to be Covid carriers. Plus, they’re more likely to have anger issues that make them unstable. In any case, avoid them as much as possible. If they’re in your social circle or are extended family members, you may want to re-evaluate your long range strategies for surviving and thriving in the difficult times ahead. Try to minimize the liabilities in your life.

Oh heaven help us the apocalypse is upon us.. that is the most ridiculous thing I've ever read. If other people are wearing masks then they are protected from you if you're not wearing the mask so it doesn't matter so if you're wearing a mask and someone else in the wearing a mask then you're protected. At least that's what has been preached to us, that's what the woman said. When you wear a mask it protects others from you and protects you from others. So if I don't wear masks you're perfectly protected.

"She says "We lost a lot of our freedoms during the lockdown". What concerns me is that we are told that we have lost some of our "rights" during the lockdown. How about the right to freedom of assembly and the right to exercise of religious beliefs. In a time when some tell us that we don't even have the right to defend our families, homes, and businesses from impending assault, we need to stand for our Bill of Rights.

Those mask protesting freaking spoiled brat cowards. Masks arnt just for the individuals safety, it's for the safety of others too. The country calls on us to put up with a tiny inconvenience to help other Americans, and these selfish crybabies act like they've been enslaved... I'm glad people weren't so stupid during WW2, these idiots would be furious and indignant about rationing, collecting scrap metal, and buying war bonds. Patriots indeed.
@lynnpaulovich9204 жыл бұрын
That's not what was said. At first there was a shortage of masks. Therefore the masks where reserved for health and front line workers.

Yeah, and we Europeans reacted by sewing our own masks, filters included. Who couldn't sew, either got some made by friends ore at least used a scarf. Every little bit of cloth helps to reduce the spread of droplets and aerosols. And replying to the answer below: YES, face coverings (even non-medical ones) help. You think we got the numbers down in Europe sneesing and caughing in each others faces? It's not a cure-all, but output and distance is recuced by about 50 %. We've been wearing them for several months now and no, we haven't suffocated yet and our basic human rights are quite intact, thank you very much.

Trump created this darkness and Americans bear witness to the GOP's ugly transformation. Unfit to be President and a sociopath - he is dragging down the GOP. I'm a Republican and I'm voting! 🇺🇸 Biden 2020! 🇺🇸
