I like how you have it a twist. This was actually worth watching. It’s like if Stevie was more of a country guy and not a blues guy! Nice job

Funny how I said Carmen is my step dad. He was my father in law but in reality he was the only father figure I ever truly had in my life so he was much more than any label.

Excellent acoustic rendition! I saw Stevie Ray at the Golden Bear in Huntington Beach, California, right after his first album was released on vinyl (CDs were just barely a thing at about this time). My wife and I, my friend, and his girlfriend sat right up front, at the edge of the stage. SRV sure could pour out the sweat. I've recently sent my SRV Stratocaster up north to my nephew as my hands have the neuropathy thing going on. My nephew's addiction to Les Pauls has finally been cracked.

Very kind reply to my campfire rendition of SRV :) I love my Les Paul but I have equal love of my Strat which weighs a lot less. Lucky Nephew to have a generous uncle. Sorry to hear about your hands but hopefully those new hands continue that stratocaster journey.

That was refreshing to hear. Very good job. I never saw Jethro Tull back in the day, but I did manage to see Zeppelin, Queen, and a few others of note. I owned all the Tull albums, though. Great stuff, especially for us Celtic folk.

Thank you. I found a potential flutist who plays keyboard and is willing to cover this song in some future gig. I have to cross the pond if I want to see Ian Anderson live in the UK. Robert Plant is here in Canada in August but not the Zep stuff of old, touring with Allison Krauss.

Wait until my friend Dan sings this with the rest of our band. We have 27 songs in our set list this week and need 40 songs so we can start performing live. This will be one of them, plus most of the songs I have demo'd over the last 6 months.

Thanks. Came of age in Halifax before moving out west. My intro to the hip was at the Grawood lounge at Dalhousie in 1990. Alas my memory of those years is fuzzy at best but I survived :)
