years ago, (like 42 yrs. ago), Pasadena fire had paramedics separate from the fire dept. They were not firemen..How things have changed..

Awesome catch! I noticed that almost every video of LACityFD they have the truck in front of the engine, and sometimes the engine even waits for the truck to pull out the station first. Why is that? Where I'm from its not a big deal who leaves first, but it is typically the engine becouse they are faster, and if it's a fire they will be on attack. Just curious, great video anyway!

I’m so intrigued. Was this a police chase? This is on Pico and Overland… heading East on Pico, outside of Culver City. I’m guessing it was either a police chase or request for assistance from another police agency… perhaps LAPD or Beverly Hills.
