What's a ' open seat '?

This is the best way I can describe an open seat! Since my dad is an airline pilot, employees and family members can get free flights (or 90% off on other airlines). You can get on the flights for free or the discounted price as long as there is a seat available. So if the flight is sold out, there’s a chance that I wouldn’t be able to get on that flight. With this perk, it makes it so much easier to travel! Unfortunately since I graduated college, I am no longer eligible for the perk and it expires in September. I will have one more travel vlog with this perk coming in late August!!
