Bro... no one is listening. The whole world knows this and has known this from day one. His employer does not care. At least he can say he did all he could for his son.

This video TOTALLY resounds with my thoughts! And everyone else's! (Those with *more IQ power than Stroll,* that is!) He made his name that day: *"taking a Stroll in the gravel"* 😝👎

For those saying F3 wOrLd ChAmPhIoN the tldr is that his dad bought the best team and then illegally payed Williams to do stuff for them. If it was a fair fight he would have lost to Maximilian Günther, George Russel or Antoine Hubert (RIP) and maybe he would have been better friends with Zhou Guanyu and Nikita Mazepin who were at the same time in f3

Why are you so angry? Alain Prost and Gerhard Berger did exactly the same thing, spinning out on formation lap during the San Marino race in 1991. Shit happens. I am not a fan of Stroll, and agree there are better drivers without a seat. But, his billionaire father bought a team, keeps hundreds of people employed, and all he wants is for his kid to race. Lots of rich kids were sponspred by their parents before, and Lance is not all that bad. At least compared to countless other drivers.
@officialECS3 сағат бұрын
I think I state 3 times in the video that the spin is not an issue. its what he does afterwards. I dont think Alain Prost would have beached the car in that situation. I dont think any other driver than Stroll would have done so in that situation. If it was a one time thing, even if Stroll did it, it would not have been a big issue. But this is just one of many examples over 8 years of him being stupid and nobody really calling it out in the F1 media. Also his dad buying the team and saving peoples jobs is one thing, and Stroll holding a seat hostage for years is a completely different thing. The "anger" stems from the media playing it off nicely without realizing how absurd the situation actually was.

I think Lance Stroll gets more hate than he deserves, mainly because he's a rich guy's son and slightly stuck-up because of it. He's a pretty good driver, and absolutely deserved his chance in F1. He won F4 in his first season, and was fairly mediocre in his first F3 season but absolutely dominated the second. Money alone can't do that, he has some talent. But just because some of the criticism is exaggerated doesn't mean it isn't valid. Being "a pretty good driver" and having "some talent" isn't enough for F1. To be successful in F1 you need to be exceptional, and Lance Stroll has shown that he just... isn't. He makes too many stupid mistakes, this latest example is just the tip of the iceberg of dumb Lance Stroll decisions that even an F1 rookie should have known better than to make.

Calling Stroll a rain master is like saying Sargeant had the car control of fucking Jim Clark.
@_PITBOY3 сағат бұрын
You do realize the brakes on the car actually broke, one side locked onto the disk, and sent the car into a spin on the formation lap, but you paid attention to reports and know that right? ... I mean, Im not a fan of Stroll either, but at the very least, lets get the facts correct. He didnt lose it, it broke.

Dude is beyond a dickhead 😂😂 it’s like there’s drivers like colapinto who will for sure be a successful in the sport off of TRUE talent & a drive for success. Lance is just there to say he did it & he doesn’t want to work hard for anything. His daddy is bank account & that’s just that.. FIA needs to suspend his super license though because he’s just not talented at all mate. His license is PAID for I guarantee it.. it’s sad he doesn’t have to work for a seat like every other driver on the grid.. “hey lancy poo daddy’s got ya 😏😘” it’s not true to this sport. Fucking Cuntish honestly
@ItzBrooksFTW4 сағат бұрын
he COULD be good but there is just no pressure on him to perform. he knows that even if he drives like a crippled grandma his daddy would keep him on the team.

Come on, we've all had one of those days were we don't want to do what we have to do. In Lance's case he just is so secure with himself he doesn't mind if 100 million or so people watch him intentionally ditch the car so he didn't have to do what he has the incredible privilege of being able to do. Plus being paid millions to do what many dream of doing. Like most individuals experiencing a moment of petulance, he acted accordingly. He undoubtedly saw it as a good thing that he took the car out of the race with next to no damage versus the potentially massive damage that may have resulted from a high speed crash. Thoughtful guy, saving the team money and getting what he wanted too. Win win!

Absurd that we will lose Bottas/Tsunoda/Lawson/Colapinto before Stroll.
@NexuJin5 сағат бұрын
Note: everyone started that race in 2nd gear, because the torque of first gear in the rain would cause too much slipping. Lance drove into the gravel pit in 1st gear, pretty much deliberate action to get the car stuck.

Man you would love rocketpoweredmohawk lmao

The theory I've seen and can completely believe is that Lance/the team KNEW he was completely cooked in the rain so he/they just DNFed to save the engine/avoid a worse crash.

That’s just it. Everyone is jealous of Stroll. So to you I say get used to it. Nepotism is everywhere. If your mom or dad is a doctor you’re almost guaranteed to get into medical school. If they’re a manager you’re definitely getting a job in the company. It’s just the way things work. You see it everywhere including F1. Just look at the last names of drivers. And I cannot fail to mention a certain basketball player recently drafted with the last name of James. lol

But realistically there is many drivers better than stroll who don’t have the seat

I'm a Truck (Lorry) driver in Canada. I'm quite skilled as well. Lance drove through a sand(mud) trap after two solid days of rain. Me, a truck driver knows you don't put one wheel in the mud. Not one wheel!!! He's an 8 year veteran and I hear F1 commentators and pundits saying "He's still learning from Alonso" Still learning after 8 years? Sees jam on window, then licks it clean.

No apologies needed for your rant, i have been saying exactly what you are saying since just after Lance S started in F1. It is no place for a driver to get by just because his dad owns the team. I would not invest in anything the Stroll family does after witnessing this shit show in F1. Aston Martin as a brand should be ashamed of themselves, all the sponsors should be ashamed of themselves, Lance should be ashamed of himself and quit, but it won't happen.
