I'm impressed with the young lad keeping up with a couple of pro athletes.

No way that young lad ran close to 32 minutes for 10K!

From this footage, it looks like the narrow finish straight and the bikes would make it difficult for Jess to come past (in this instance). Very crowded! But well done all!

What sprint finish! I did this race last year. After that final hill when the finish line comes I to view… I pulled to the side and puked everywhere 😂

Superb commentary, l ran today and really enjoyed watching back how the race unfolded, many thanks for all your efforts. All the best for the 2025 series 🇬🇧

I was watching this live this morning. How did Topflight livestream completely mess up the race finish and not show it at all? You had one job!
@stevehumphries807012 күн бұрын
Exactly, total balls up to miss the men’s finish!
@ChrisParrRunning11 күн бұрын
We have the finish to re-upload. We use multiple internet bonded connections on several networks but if the live signal drops (especially in the countryside) then problem solving whilst filming and cycling is needed - unfortunate timing…. think about how often you struggle to get signal on your phone for sending a WhatsApp/call, never mind streaming HD video.

@ Thanks for your response Chris. I realise things can get challenging. I hope there are better options next time out e.g. switching to the home straight feed earlier in the broadcast etc.

You may have a certificate that says you're a man, but biologically you're still a woman and no amount of hormones, surgery or certificates can change that!

My concern with treadmill world champs is hacking the treadmills so it records dodgy data, you know it's going to happen.
@ChrisParrRunning17 күн бұрын
Yea very gimmicky and open to variation per machine - if it’s an ‘entry to running’ idea to get people from the gym into outdoor races then fine but I’m not convinced in world level competitions

You haven’t mentioned Omar Ahmed, he’s running really well and has a PB of 28.27, looks like one to watch for me at the Ribble 10k 🇬🇧

I think it’s terrible that total running novices run marathons for charity and just do a terrible job or break themselves, then never want to run again. I admire them in a way, and the money they raise is great, but is it good for them or the sport?….
@RunThroughTV24 күн бұрын
We understand your concern, and it’s great to hear your perspective! While the charity aspect is amazing, we always encourage beginners to approach marathons with the right training and support. It’s important for both their well-being and the future of the sport. We’re here to help guide and support runners of all levels to ensure a positive experience! 😊💪
