My question is if i stream to the soundbar does all the sound come through the soundbar and surround speakers and subwoofer also as it says online the surround speakers are not bluetooth. Thank you

Hi, yes the sound comes from all speakers and there volume controlled via the Bose app, the surround speakers are wifi not Bluetooth, you add them all in the bose app. Pat.

My base is actually set within the border of my garden - not on the grass itself and although this isn't following the guide stated by Bosch it works perfectly. I built a proper garage for mine which the mower opens when it comes out and shuts the door when it goes home to recharge - I've built it to look like an alpine house with a large gable end overlap, but with a Georgian style white door. I did find many times going home it would struggle to dock successfully but i moved the wire underneath the base plus inside the garage I have a metal guide rail to the left hand side - so if it kinks it gets guided back and never misses the charging pins now. Mine also hits the dock/garage like yours but I built a concrete base and secured the plastic base down and the garage itself is bolted down onto the concrete - so the bumps don't move anything. I have modified my mower so now it cuts down to 10mm. I don't think your has a fault re the base - just fit your garage over the base and secure that down.
@patrickdiddly16 ай бұрын
Thanks for the info, I have now got the Bosch garage and it still hits the base lol.
@patrickdiddly16 ай бұрын
How did you modify for 10mm please?
@Gripper-ie2qg6 ай бұрын
@@patrickdiddly1 I bought via ebay a second blade carrier - (the plastic bit the blades attach to) Cut the centre bit out (will explain later) I bought new longer (25mm) I think they were m5 bolts - (but check) that will screw into the screw thread that holds the blades on. Remove the cutting blades from the original blade carrier. With the second blade carrier drill out the threads with a 6mm drill bit - this will allow the m5 new bolts to pass straight through. To lower your cut by the amount you want (In my case that was 10mm) I bought a steel tube from B&Q (about £5) and cut three 10mm sections off, Now use the 25mm new bolts - put a blade on the shaft - feed it through the drilled out threads of the second blade carrier and add the 10mm tube - this will act as a spacer - now simply screw the bolt into the thread that used to hold the blade on the original blade carrier - do all three blades. The centre piece I cut out so I can unscrew the entire blade carrier system from the mower in one piece - it provides access to the three screws that hold the blade carrier on. The size of the tubing you cut will determine by how much you lower your cut. I also found the blade protector - the plastic bit that runs around the outside of the three spinning blades was a waste of time - - so i removed that too - just three screws - so now when the mower changes direction and it turns around the protector bit doesn't push the grass out of the way - and now it simply gets cut. My lawn is pretty flat, few bumps so 10mm as the cut depth is perfect If you ever have to return the mower to Bosch you can simply take the three new bolts out, remove the mod entirely and fit the blades back to the original blade carrier.

I had some problems in the beginning too. It was dramatically better after changing a little setting. You need to specify if the base is installed in a corner (like yours is) or on a long side. It's somewhere in the menus on the mower.
@patrickdiddly16 ай бұрын
This made no difference, bosch tell me its normal as it's trying to mo around the base!
@Gripper-ie2qg6 ай бұрын
I didn't follow Bosch recommendation on siting the base, My base is not on my lawn at all, its located in the flower border, I did make a concrete base to put the charger base on and once dried drilled the concrete, added raw plugs and screwed the plastic charger base down, I ran the perimeter cable straight out from the base as this is the enter and exit route - but I also dug a little channel out to put the cable slightly inset into the concrete and smeared a smidgen of mortar over the top - so you cant see the cable at all. The garage i built was placed over the charging base and i made sure the returning bit of the perimeter wire was angled from following the lawn edge so it would pass under the front corner of the garage. I then screwed the garage down onto the base. When the mower maps the lawn it ends up hitting the front left hand corner of the garage - and of course asks for confirmation this is the base - so press the green tick. My garage is now pretty much secluded by foliage and it all works perfectly well. I did take a few weeks to get everything right - and then i buried the perimeter cable, just used a bolster, put tape around it at 4cm and then with a hammer went around the edge of the garden making a channel to drop the cable into, bit of topsoil and mixed with grass seed and press the sides of the channel back together with my foot, It all grew over within a fortnight and no evidence of a cable at all. Its all worked perfectly now for 18 months.

Thanks so much for putting the video up, I go every year with my support staff who is now also a big fan of Pete,Jules and the whole team involved.😁 I loved every second of the show,all tunes were pure unadulterated classics and surprises thrown in there to like zombie nation (of course) and I appreciate so much the time,effort and skill put in by every single member of the team. I was determined to not let anything get me down-but yes,I ran (or rolled-I use an active manual wheelchair) into a gaggle of muppets who shouted “look at that gimp” laughing away to themselves.really? Im very self deprecative in humour but that one is so old (I even had the same treatment on the way home by another gaggle of drunken individuals when we were getting into a Uber access WAV cab but that’s another story). I was there in the disabled platform directly opposite the stage at the back. Pete as usual played an absolute blinder of a set before the show but I missed some of his DJ set as Victoria stations security treated me like a security risk,even though I go to it every year with my support staff or sister and until then I had never had any issues with the security. They roughly frisked me in my wheelchair while keeping my support worked out the way-beyond what would be acceptable by any able bodied goers,they kept me waiting for a long time telling me I can’t have my iPad Pro out in the arena when its on the access teams list every year as its my AAC device and I’m reliant on it to communicate-I’m non verbal autistic, mildly learning disabled as well as otherwise disabled. I then had a lot of trouble cueing up for the acessible toilet inside the men’s-some irritants were shouting away that I’d pushed in when I’d been waiting oposite the cue for over 45 minutes,my chair was getting in people’s way.,if it wasn’t for one man and a group of women who all stuck up for me I wouldn’t have got in, thanks if you all ever see this. Absolutely great night,always makes my year, roll on next November.

I've got a 2016 too. The base of the antenna is very heavy. I've got mine up on a steel tripod base the I purchased from moonraker radio. Have a 10ft alloy pole 2.5inch diameter with 3.25mm gauge thickness slotted into the base and then another 10ft alloy pole 2 inch diameter 3.25mm gauge attached with clamps. Got 3 big kirb stones holding the base down and a guy wire kit. My weather station in the garden clocked 60mph wind gusts last Thursday and its all holding up well. Also changed the joining screws on the 2016 for stainless steel ones and taped up the joins. So fingers crossed it will last a big longer. 73's from me and enjoy the airwaves 👍🏻
