Sure! Would you provide some additional details? Are the holes not fitting into the standard 3-punch binder after punching?

That's all fine and dandy...where do you get those plastic "combs"? Let me guess: they're $15 a pop? Or $20? Also the "opening" them is fake-easy and dumbed down on the vid: it looks mighty hard to figure out!
@mybinding21 күн бұрын
Haha! Some of the combs can get up there in price, but most of our combs are under $15 for a box of 100: www.mybinding.com/black-plastic-binding-combs.html But you're right, combs can be pretty tricky sometimes, hence the video to make it easier :D

@@mybinding Thank you for reply! I guess I'll just get a thick needle and some string to sew my upcoming ST: TOS fanzines. I hear they're selling online for $200 and the studios, which owe me, aren't doing anything about it. So I plan to crank out dozens of them! 😁
@mybinding20 күн бұрын
@@1Channel1 Sounds like easy money to me! You could always invest in a booklet stapler too. Those would also be fairly low cost and maybe a tad faster than sewing up your zine.

Very helpful, many, many thanks! I bought a vintage IBICO 400e on ebay and no instructions. Never done this before but its a solid machine like this one. Much better to do manual binding instead of a high priced automatic thingie that breaks down. All my sewing machines and car are manual.

Do you spray anything on the rollers? Will this remove residue from stuck lamination?
@mybinding21 күн бұрын
Hello! You do not have to spray anything on the rollers, only use the cleaning pad to gently remove any residue. This will remove any adhesive that may have been left behind during the laminating process.

Hi My Binding. Is there a binding machine like this, the same or similar to this one, but that makes round holes and not square holes? Thanks.
@mybindingАй бұрын
Hello! All of the wire binding machines will come with square holes because that's the best shape for inserting wire binding. BUT, you can always look at one of the coil binding machines which typically have either oval or round shape holes: Such as the Akiles Coilmac M Plus www.mybinding.com/shop-by-industry/shop-by-government/military-office-supplies/binding-machines-and-supplies-for-military-facilities/akiles-coilmac-m-plus-manual-oval-hole-coil-binding-machine-5993-0.html or the Tamerica tcc sp410 www.mybinding.com/shop-by-industry/shop-by-government/military-office-supplies/binding-machines-and-supplies-for-military-facilities/tamerica-tcc-sp410-spiral-coil-binding-machine-13184-0.html

@@mybinding Hello My Binding. Thank you very much for your reply, but I need a 2:1 or 3:1 wire binding machine (or 2:1 and 3:1, Duo), I don't need a comb or coil binder, I need a wire binder that makes round holes, sorry, but I like my bindings to have round holes and not square holes. Do you have a machine like that, but one that isn't expensive? Thank you very much.
@mybindingАй бұрын
@@noxisvibrant Thank you for the clarification. All of our wire binding machines have rectangular holes; wire binding machines with circular holes would be considered crimpers and we unfortunately do not carry those. We are able to order custom hole punches that can achieve a round circle with our machines, but they won't necessarily be cheap. You could get one of the Akiles Modular Die punches and then the 3:1 or 2:1 die with circular hole www.mybinding.com/akiles-flexipunch-m-manual-modular-interchangeable-die-binding-punch-with-die.html
