The Christian Zionists you mentioned I don't think ever read the Old Testament or have ever looked at history at what happened to the Israelites who crucified and rejected Jesus. The Israelties suffered the curses of Deuteronomy and God let their 2nd temple and Jerusalem be destroyed and they would never have a city or nation again. Even in modern day, a lot of the Jews in Israel are actually descendants of Khazaria and they still reject what Jesus did on the cross and some of them want to build a 3rd temple

Great teaching and one of the best chapters in the New Testament. Verses 29 and 30 are so important and all of that goes on in America today. The advertising in America has always been bad but I'd argue over the last 10 years it's gotten ridiculous. The constant want for people to covet things from it is crazy

Bless you for this video Mike. I think this book of Galatians is my favorite book of the New Testament other than the gospels and Acts. It's a shorter book but it's powerful. I do think there are things in the Old Testament that could be applied that still honor Jesus, such as not putting marks and tattoos on our body that symbolize idols and false gods like modern tattoo culture in America pushes. I do think if you can take a Saturday sabbath instead of Sunday, that's a sign of love to God as well that I don't think Jesus would mind. But I agree about the dietary restrictions, the need for circumcision, the not cutting hair stuff, etc needing to be done to be saved. Faith in Jesus first and always is what saves us. There's a youtuber who I watch who is super wise, a good teacher, and talks about a lot of stuff going on in the world that scripture warns about or some of these modern day evangelical churches do or have done. But I worry that sometimes he is a bit too into the Mosaic law even though he always acknowledges and puts over Jesus in his videos.

Appreciate your videos Mike. I agree about there being a lot of garbage on the internet today but I'm thankful that there is good content like your Verse by Verse series. When I'm off of work, I still have my old habits of wanting to kick back and watch tv or movies but instead of watching a fake show or movie, I find myself wanting to watch something that educates me in some way with the word of God. I watch other youtubers who do the same who try to apply the word in their life. It's so much better than watching mindless sports talk or discussion about hollywood produced shows or movies that will never help anyone grow in their life like the word of God can.

I appreciate this video. I got to be honest, as I am going through the New Testament for a first time, I never knew Paul was Jewish. For some reason I always thought he was a Gentile. The more I read about the New Testament and how Jews like him and Peter were teaching about Jesus and spreading the gospel and you still had a large number of Jews refusing to accept the Messiah and how God's law had really told them to do so, it makes more sense as to why God allowed the Romans to destroy the 2nd temple. Because descendants of the Jews in the Old Testament that had rebelled against God in the Northern Kingdom of Israel and repeatedly in the southern kingdom of Judah (though there were periods where there were good kings and the people generally did right), a lot of them never stopped doing so. Plus like the people killed God's prophets of the Old Testament, they did the same to Jesus who was not only the Messiah but also a prophet as well.

I really like verse 11. I know it was for the Thessolians but I think it can apply to modern day Christians as well. I was at work tonight and there's this woman I went to nursing school with and she's maybe 15 years older than me, maybe a little more. She's worked in long term care like I have for many years. I don't know if she's ever read the whole Bible and she is supposedly Catholic but she uses curse words often, smokes, and I feel like she's always mad about something when I see her. Tonight she's telling me a story about some bad decisions some of the other staff nurses made for a patient there and then she just randomly starts getting mad at me about why I'm still working in long term care and starts challenging me to go do something else with nursing or I would regret it someday and calling my job a dead end (even though she's been doing it for as long as I have). I remember you telling us about how the Bible says to be content with what you have, and one example of this is in "For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows (1 Timothy 6:7-10), I don't love my job but I don't hate it. I make a good wage, I work close to home so I save on miles, gas, and time on the road, and I get some days off so I can spend time reading the Bible and doing other things. I feel blessed with what I have and don't want to worry about going into debt just to try to make more money that I don't really need.

Amen Michael. There was a church nearby that I went to one time with a friend and I ended up adding this church as a friend on my facebook in case I ever wanted to go back. I saw some posts yesterday how they had Santa Clause come visit and take photos with kids and I unfriended that church. Christmas is a pagan holiday and has been for hundreds of years. The Roman Catholic church used to do sun god festivals/festivities and that stopped and they added Jesus to the day. I won't judge people that want to worship Jesus on Christmas but by no means should people who are Christians have a false character who doesn't exist in real life that the world made, along with trees decorated in silver and gold (Jeremiah chapter 10 verses 1-5 mention this) in a place that is supposed to be worship. This is the false idol stuff in modern day that Paul would warn to turn away from if he was alive today.

Appreciate this. I've been thinking of getting in better shape for myself for a long time. I think this winter I am going to do that. I think God would appreciate a person being in somewhat good physical condition for him versus just sitting around all day if they physically don't have to.

Book of Esther was really good. I always like the stories in the Old Testament that go multiple chapters that show what God allows to happen but then he does something that makes us go wow or some kind of justice happens after something bad/wicked was done.

Good book so far :) I agree with @endtimes on Ephesians 4:26-27 Lately when I am at work, it seems like I have either good nights or bad nights anymore but I am blessed with having days off during the week and my salary. My job is stressful and sometimes I will get frustrated and say "I need to quit this job" but then I make it to my days off and I just let go of the anger and go back to work a lot fresher mentally. The Bible helps a lot with relieving stress for me. I either read about hard times and tribulations for others who had it much much worse than me or I come across positive and encouraging words that cheer me up.

There's this phony prophet I follow on a social media site and today she posted a photo of one of her daughters and apparently this lady had a son who was killed in an accident and while I feel bad she and her family had to go through that, she apparently had her son cremated and apparently made a necklace and put some of her son's ashes in it and one of her daughters wears it. She posted a photo today of her daughter and her daughter was wearing a necklace and she commented "She’s always wearing her brother (her necklace has her brother’s ashes) with her. 🥹😭" Where in the Bible does it say that it's okay to do such a practice? To me it sounds like witchcraft

What you said about modern day idols/pagan practices like horoscopes, tarot cards,, Ouiji boards, etc is very true. I can add in getting tattoos, wearing chakras, buying magic rings or spells, Yoga, going to fortune tellers or psychic readings, etc also qualifies. In these crazy modern days with easy access to all of that stuff, you would think pastors would warn about not doing any of that stuff if you want to be a follower of God and Jesus.
