Quick question for you I got a kit that came that's similar to what you installed I have a 2002 Silverado. The fuel filter that comes with it has plastic Clips on both sides is that supposed to be normal for this type of setup

I have a set of stainless hardlines in the rafters my garage for my escalade. I bought them years ago. I slid under it a took a look back then and said "nope. Not gonna try. I don't want a fuel filter that bad."

There is a little round small canister right behind the purge valve in my Chevy cobalt 2005 . So do I go ahead take that off? Because the is where I have to connect the other house , the one behind the purge valve to the vapor canister near the tank

Good video! Workin on this to my 04 Z71 and tryin to get the bracket off top of tranny. Local garage quoted $750+ to replace em with nylon. Seemed a bit pricey at the time but thats probably a fair price. When found out I could do braided lines thought it would be a nice diy project. Better to fix up your old truck money well spent.

I found it alot easier to access the bolt on top of the transmission by removing the drivers side wheel well liner(04 silverado 5.3). Hope this helps someone!

I have this car. But i have the same issue.. the muffler looks like the old one that was taken off this Saturn.. its very loud and im just a 20 year old girl who knows nothing about cars.. its so embarrassing i wish i could fix it but i always have to get help because i cant

So what ls the port location for each line on the abs module? Very informative on the basics, but need a little more info.

So I waited a but to comment on this product. I purchased it last month I can’t remember the exact date , but I installed it last week 6/27/24 and I will say it was very easy to install tho I did ride the struggle bus at first ! I had seen been looking for a kit like this for a few months when I came across this and I watched it a few times and a few others and had decided to go with this kit ! And because I had watched a few other videos from other manufacturers I got myself confused ! So I had taken everything out of the box and laid it all out to make sure I had everything and all was there. But for what every reason i didn’t think so and I called for some help and I actually talked to Rob the owner and after a technician and a few pointers I was able to put the lines in . My truck is rusted because I live in the rust belt and I ran into a few snagged because of that ! But that actual product is really fast to install ! I put on about 250 miles and not a hiccup! This kit hands down is the best for the money and quality and the service you get ! You’d be dumb to buy anything else ! Love this kit ! Only thing I wish I got a bumper sticker to put on my truck to advertise for them ! Keep up the great job and turning out an amazing product !! One very satisfied customer!!

Excellent video tutorial for the installation! the only thing id recommend BEFORE YOU BEGIN THIS REPAIR is to have some self-tapping screws ready, nuts for the torx studs already installed, or anchors for the supplied line brackets. mine only had one nut for the firewall and replacement bolts for each secure threaded factory torx stud and I didn't have a reverse torxs bit for the stud. so I improvised and tapped holes to fit the included bolts using the supplied brackets. My line had rusted out inside the heat shield/jacket and when I installed new struts and HHR ss springs it moved them around enough to start leaking. I got lucky and it was only the return until I received this kit. if you're steady without a lift and jack it high enough with the rear on ramps on a creeper it will take less than two hours including the old line removal. These guys made it a breeze! The kit was a fitment for a 2011 2.2L Ecotec HHR LS

i did this job on my 99 on my back that was hard. now i have to do this on my 02 and i dont want that fight.

I just got the kit for Silverado 01 extended cab. It has 3 lines. I cant tell which cable goes where. Do you have a Color guide to which one goes where?

So i have a 2005 sikverado with a 4.3 and a. 5 speed manual. And i have a door. I made in the bed to access the fuel pump . Can i assume there's more room over this transmission

Awesome installation instructions. I have an HHR LS and the problem started when I turned the ignition on and gas started gushing out the driver's side. can you help me understand what happened, and how to fix the problem, without going to a mechanic and spending ridiculous amounts of money to get the car fixed? Could you please inform me of what part(s) and tools I need to fix this issue? I thank you professional recommendations in advance.

Just finishing replacing the line with this kit. I'm disable with multiple nerves pinched. The hard part was the removal of the old lines the rest was fast and easy. I got a question, did you recommend the use of a heat shield for the lines? Cause it will create the same problem, i believe. Thanks.

Just ordered a set of your fuel lines for my sons 05 1500 Z71. It's much easier then the set of multi piece set I bought for my 2000 2500 4x4! 👍

Hey guys, up here in Manitoba Canada I’ve got an 09 Pontiac G5 (same exact body/chassis as the Cobalt) with an external fuel filter mounted beside the evap canister. Does the replacement feed line in this video connect easily to the output side of the external fuel filter without an additional part? Or is there an additional part needed? Please let me know, I’m ready to pull the trigger on ordering this from ya. Can’t even change the existing fuel filter without breaking the old line it’s that rusted. Other commenters mentioned this issue but I don’t see a mention one way or other. Manitoba roads :(
