Cool! The setup seems to work great! Trying out new tech can be frustrating but if it works then it feels like pure bliss haha. (I'd still bring a backup option just in case but I'm sure you were thinking the same thing). Oh, I've also learned how to use Davinci Resolve (Free) back in August this year and I've been using it all the time, it works fantastic and the flexibility and amount of features that it offers are crazy! I love how free software nowadays is actually on par if not better than expensive bloatware like Adobe's software suite for example xD. The Christmas lights were super pretty!

Yeah! I'll be bringing this camera, along with my Panasonic camcorder, and GoPro Hero 7. My phone too of course. DaVinci Resolve is definitely vastly different compared to the other video editing program I used which was the non pro version of Sony Vegas 11. However, I think I'll end up liking DaVinci Resolve once I get the hang of it! Indeed! It's amazing what some of these free programs can do these days. It's nice that they'e free. I love walking in that area for the holiday decorations. It makes it quite a pleasant walk. 😊

Lovely pickups! Love the Lugia plushie and orange Gamecube controller! The vintage Halloween and Christmas decorations and items are super cool. They have a charm to them and they feel much more soulful compared to present day products that just seem to be mass manufactured only to be immediately disposed of as soon as the holiday seasons are over. Out of curiosity, what are your favorite Christmas/New Years go to movies, TV shows or games? I usually gravitate towards Nightmare before Christmas, Tokyo Godfathers and Klaus (2019 from Netflix). Hopefully you've been feeling better! Have a wonderful holiday season! I also hope you have a great time in Japan!
@Moonlite.886 күн бұрын
Just saw your comment now! Yeah vintage Halloween and Christmas decor just hits differently than today's decorations. There's some cute modern stuff but it just doesn't have the same feelings. My favorite top 5 go to holiday movies are (for Christmas), The Santa Clause, Jingle All the Way, How the Grinch Stole Christmas (Jim Carrey version and the og), Home Alone 1 & 2, and Rudolph the Movie (1998). For Halloween, The Little Vampire, When Good Ghouls Go Bad, Double Double Toil in Trouble, Halloween Town, and Hocus Pocus. I always watch these movies every year. Nightmare Before Christmas and Tokyo Godfathers are both great movies! Klaus is great too! I also like to watch the cheesy Hallmark/Life Time Christmas movies every so often. I've been feeling a lot better! Feeling better enough that I think I'll be ok in Japan for the month. Thank you for your kind words! Hope you have a lovely holiday season and a happy new year. :)

Wow, the Northern Light photos you took are stunning! I wasn't expecting all of that cute puffin merch, haha! I live in Europe and paprika seems to be a very common chip/snack flavor in general over here. Well, if you have the time to edit Iceland vlogs, that would be nice, but no need to put pressure on yourself to do it, especially if the footage has a lot of your family members in it. ^.^

Cool buys so far Jeez, seems a lot of Barnes & Nobles have been affected lately. I was looking for a book a few weeks back and noticed they moved one with two floors to a new one-floor location in the same mall. There's also another with two floors that while it didn't get moved since it's not in a mall, they blocked both working escalators with employees only signs and looking from below, the second floor looked empty.

Enjoyed the tour, love all the cute plushies on top of your shelves! Since you asked at the end of the video what us(the watchers) have been into lately, here's a few new manga that come to mind: -You and I are Polar Opposites(cute romcom from Jump+) -Gachiakuta (edgy dark battle shonen manga from the assistant/spiritual successor of Atsushi Ohkubo(author of Soul Eater, Fire Force) -Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You(romantic series with super cool night time vibes) -Yomi No Tsugai(the latest original story from the author of Fullmetal Alchemist, awesome battle shonen manga) -Kindergarten Wars(amazing action/comedy/romance manga from Jump+, definitely worth looking into if you like Spy x Family for example) -The Guy She Was Interested in Wasn't a Guy at All(super cool yuri romcom with cool vibes and superb art/character designs) -Gokurakugai(new battle shonen manga from Jump SQ, definitely recommended if you like Blue Exorcist, Soul Eater and series of that sort) I haven't been playing many games lately, but I have dived for the first time ever into Dead Space 1(the original version, not the remake) and it still holds up amazingly well, super spooky atmospheric game! In terms of cartoons, I recently watched Hazbin Hotel, an edgy adult musical series, it's pretty fun and crazy, if you ever watch it make sure to check out the pilot on youtube first. I also decided to start re-watching the X-men cartoon from 1992 since Disney is releasing a continuation called X-men 97' and my goodness there is something so magical about these superhero cartoons from the 90s, I swear they're timeless! I'm curious to see what direction the continuation goes in. I'm also looking forward to the rest of season 2 from a cartoon called Helluva Boss to come out, it's an edgy animated action-packed musical adult series that releases on youtube, it's an indie production with insanely good production values and it's a spin-off and takes place in the same universe as Hazbin Hotel which I mentioned earlier.
@Moonlite.889 ай бұрын
I have not heard of any of those manga titles! They sound interesting though. I'll have to check them out! I have however, heard of Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss from a buddy of mine. They look like fun series from what he showed me. Ah yes! I love the older super hero cartoons from the 90s. I completely agree that they are magical. They just don't make cartoons like that anymore. Seems like you've been reading and watching some awesome stuff these days! Very nice. :D

@@Moonlite.88 The majority of the manga I mentioned are from 2022 so they are very new, most of them are already being published in English already or they have upcoming releases since they're all popular. They're all guaranteed to get anime adaptations in the future too, so that's fun. Oh yeah and also I have to give a huge shoutout to the animated pilot The Amazing Digital Circus, which is also on KZbin, it has an amazing nostalgic 90s 3D style and it's also a tribute to many weird toys from that era, you may have heard of it already though since it went super viral a few months ago, definitely worth checking out since it's on YT which is awesome. Yeah, I've been enjoying all of these. Hopefully you've also been having fun with whatever you're playing/watching/reading at the moment! 😉

@SaberStash Ah ok. That makes sense then as to why I haven't heard of them before. 2022 is definitely very new! That's cool they'll probly get anime adaptations in the near future! They must be pretty popular. I actually haven't heard of Digital Circus. I'll have to check that out as well. Lately, I have been enjoying Story of Seasons A Wonderful Life on Switch and been reading Honey Lemon Soda and Chibi Debi. I recently finished reading Chibi Debi volume one and translated it in English for fun and for study purposes. I'll be reading volume 2 soon. Otherwise, I've been watching Isekai Nonbiri Nouka. I actually enjoy this little isekai series. Reminds me of Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons with the farming aspects of it. 😊 but yeah super weird how glitchy youtube's comment section is. I hope they fix it.

@@Moonlite.88 The cool thing about Digital Circus is how it has this sort of weird nostalgic vibe to it since it perfectly embraces the era it pays homage to! Story of Seasons looks comfy for sure! Honey Lemon Soda is such a gorgeous shoujo manga, it has such pretty art! I saw that a website domain was recently registered/leaked that suggests the series will be getting an anime, so that should be awesome, hopefully we see an official announcement for it soon! I definitely want to give it a read and a watch! I remember you mentioned in one of your recent videos that you had been collecting Chibi Debi since like 2008 so it must be great to finally have the full set, congrats and have fun with the rest of the volumes!😃

Yes, I have been collecting it since at least 2008! It's awesome to have the complete series now. 😊 I'm enjoying it so far. There is an anime for it but the episodes are only 5 minutes long and a bunch of scenes were removed that were in the manga. Still a cute little shojo anime tho nonetheless. Definitely recommend it if you like cutesy style shojo series.

Glad to see you making videos again! It's so fun to see how much the North American manga industry has grown, it seems to be the norm to have big manga sections in stores like B&N nowadays, which is so cool. Fun fact - the full color releases that you saw are mainly Korean Webtoons/Manhwa and they also read left to right. Occasionally you'll also find a Chinese Manhua and those also tend to always be in full color and also read left to right. Japanese manga rarely get full color editions and if they do, they barely get brought over in English by publishers.
@Moonlite.889 ай бұрын
Yes! I'll be a bit more regular now that I have a NAS drive. The English manga industry really has grown a lot since I started doing KZbin. It has become more popular and more normalized. Makes me wish that Borders would try to make a come back like Toys R Us. Ah ok! I figured it wasn't a Japanese manga since it was left to right. The only full color Japanese manga that I have in my collection are Dragon Ball SD and some animanga. Dragon Ball SD has yet to make it over here to the States. I hope it will one day though. Thanks for coming back and watching my videos! :)

@@Moonlite.88 I've seen that even weird obscure horror manga from the 1960s/1970s from Umezu Kazuo have been getting randomly licensed nowadays so I'm sure that even if that DB manga has been around since the 2010, it still has chances to eventually come over. By the way I also left another reply comment on your game tour video, but I'm not sure if it went through, since KZbin can be a bit glitchy with comments sometimes.
