Legit exploding colors and bliss this part is 3:42 and then come that unexpected dark energy after with 'em growls at 4:17. Such unusual structure this song possess, love it.

This is my first time listening to this song after rediscovering them when Palimpsest came out and the difference style vocally is huge, I love this a lot more than I thought I would and I wasn't sure it could get better after their newest album because I wasn't crazy on fortress or volition minus the song Mist because it's about newfoundland and that's where I live lol

The fact this compressed audio from YT sounds better than the final EP mix says a lot about how botched the mix is

3:41 this is where the song starts to truly shine then from 3:59 that guitar solo just makes me feel alive man and it picks ups here 4:20 . Just everything about this song is amazing.

I really love this song, a lot! But sadly they released the remastered version and took down this version on the streaming platform. Tbh, I prefer this version than the remastered version. The overall instruments sounds really nice and it 'blends' well on this version. The bass is too much mid and a bit more dominant than the others on remastered version, so it's not really sounds 'blends' with the other instruments. Thank you for uploading and keeping this version, man!

that feels like the old groups like pink floyd write a progrressive song and it fells fresh and actual.

I come back for the guitar solo frequently. To me that whole bridge part is pure joy and an example of how music can give examples of what could be.

Holy shit! I remember when this was released via Bandcamp I really loved it. When they did the official release through streaming services and shit for some reason they KILLED the songs with the final mix :( the drums sound WAY better on this mix than the final one. Holy shit... I hadn't listened to these versions in a long time and had forgotten how much I liked these better.
@jazzman25232 жыл бұрын
I honestly like the newer mixes better. They just sound bigger and less demo-y, and you can actually hear the bass, which has been a real issue for me since kezia. they've been better about it with their last few releases tho

Am I the only one who likes this bandcamp mix better than the official release?
@blakebelladonna90752 жыл бұрын
No. Idk why or how, but I honestly have always believed they botched the final mix and master. It's so weird because listening to the Bandcamp mixes, and knowing how the final versions sound, all I can think is "How did they fuck that up? The original mixes were already great and they ruined them".

This is the version that's awesome. They released this mix as a single on Bandcamp. They ruined all of the songs when they changed the audio mix for the vinyl. I was never more disappointed by something I was highly anticipating.

I honestly like the newer mix more. it just feels bigger, and you can actually hear the bass, which has been a pretty big issue i've had since kezia. the bass is way too quiet a lot of the time, but they've been better about it on their last two releases

Maybe I'm alone, but this piece of music, combined with the art, absolutely floored me. The textures and the contrasts and just the way it's all put together is really masterful songwriting and musicianship. And fucking Rody's vocals on this whole album, I love how he's just getting more adventurous every record. 100/10
