Lani, I love your reporting. It's amazing to see the step my step process that will become our "new" bridge. Argentina, who'd have imagined?? How interesting is this!!! The Bubble Bridge is very exciting. Thanks for all this valuable footage and keeping everyone informed how this came about when we see it finished. You are very special, I thank you for the special things you always do. Keep going!!❤

Another great video! Are you going to South Hampton or Nantucket? I'd love to see my old stomping grounds.
@laniralston397910 күн бұрын
Definitely, the bike trail from central CT now goes up to South Hampton so probably going to ride up there soon. Maybe Nantucket, the vineyard, or BI in the fall

Thanks for showcasing these historic Connecticut schoolhouses! Hopefully they will be preserved for future generations. Imagine if each week a different local school could bring their students on a field trip to visit these buildings -- I bet the kids would enjoy seeing what the schools of the past were like. A living history lesson!

Splendi! Doesn't an indoor butterly habitat seem like something an Anthony Trollope character would have?
@laniralston3979Ай бұрын
I will have to research that. This particular place opened around 2000 by some local people who were very dedicated to raising butterflies. It's quite an experience to have them all flying around, sometimes landing on you. Definitely worth a visit! Thanks for watching!

Lani, since you're so active I thought that I would mention something I find very rewarding: I enjoy volunteering in Bicycle Collectives. These are organizations who promote earth friendly transportation while serving to inspire underprivileged youth. They will teach you everything you need to know, and you will meet wonderful people in the process. I've volunteered in many of these. I also have enjoyed (and also recieved the benefit of) teaching language as a second language such as English.
