Elbows vs arms - "harsh"; nonsense, if the force is the same, the sound will be the same. The difference is imaginary.

Bro I love this concerto. My only question is if the violin concerto is real. How do we know since we don’t know who wrote it and we can’t find the manuscript for it?
@panduh016 күн бұрын
Also could you make a version for the sinfonia of 146
@henleverlag14 күн бұрын
Unfortunately not, the Sinfonia from Cantata BWV 146 does not fit into our catalogue due to the instrumentation!

If you are interested in the scholarly theories surrounding the creative process of Johann Sebastian Bach's 1st Harpsichord Concerto, then why not read the Critical Report on Concertos for Harpsichord BWV 1052-1059 in the New Bach Edition? It should also be available in every musicological library.

Any interpretation (of any piece of music), by Murray Perahia, would necessarily constitute an improvement over the performance notes of any composer. Howsoever strictly that composer may have expressed the need to comply precisely with their performance notes.

what a shame i cant even read music let alone play a demanding instrument such as piano... nonetheless brava to u 解老师 for ur hard work in promoting contemporary Chinese Piano Music to the world. they should ve been listened to more widely.
We are very sorry you see it like this. Our opinion - and our aim! - is that with this video and with our edition we contribute to a larger awareness of the beautiful Chinese piano music. Of course, the audio quality can never be compared to the one of a professional recording. We encourage everyone who wants to really listen to this music to buy the album. Thanks for your appreciation! 🙏🏻🎶💙

@@henleverlag i bought the CD of course. when i bought it in 2023, it was ¥99. now my HIFI friend has to pay at least¥160 to secure it for fear that they might be sold out. putting aside recording, i have to say 解静娴 has to be one of the most impressive pianists i have the pleasure to listen to. her renditions of, shall i say all pieces, are breathtaking, engrossing n riveting. after first listening to her 山丹丹 on my merely under AUD2000 HIFI, the dynamic range of the piece stunned all of us in our HIFI CLUB gathering. we ve lost our words to her performance. i was also pleasantly surprised that she was so articulate even in english to promote CHINESE PIANO MUSIC to a broader audience. so thank you so very much 解老师. kudos. RESPECT.

Basically like Malcolm Bilson says in “knowing the score” whatever you do, don’t play every note evenly.. that is most assuredly incorrect.. the beginning quarter notes are heavy, but not even. Bravo

SR's 1st sonata is a marvelous, visionary work if it's played the right way. It's also very well made. John Ogdon's recording for RCA around 1968 is my ideal. More recently there's Alexandre Kantarow who is on the same level. It would be wonderful if Marc-Andre would give it his attention.
