Unfortunately I think it's a sign of things to come whether we approve of them or not. I'm continuing to play because I enjoy the game as it is. If it changes then my stance might change. As to how people are reacting? All of my friends have quit playing and I'm looking for a new clan/discord of folks because of the fallout from the pricing polling.

@WidowedGaming It was a currency people could take instead of the "gamble reward" by using a key. Originally The number of oddments were based upon reward rarity and the multiplier of the reward. Huge lamp = 300 oddments Huge lamp *3 = 900 oddments This was very helpful to rs3 gamblers as they could buy more keys from the oddment shop without having to spend more money than now. 400 oddments = key Huge lamps *3 = 2 keys and 100 oddments As to others, it was helpful because it allowed players to buy things from the oddment shop to help progress through the game (or cosmetics). Then upon removal of the oddments being multiplied Huge lamp = 300 oddments Huge lamp *3 =300 oddments. 300 oddments ≠ key This was a wise thing that they did for money making. As the rs3 gamblers would receive less oddments to repurchase keys from the oddment shop. Thus making it more likely for them to spend money to buy keys. Regular Fans would not care to pay attention and just enjoy the game. "Hardcore Fans" would say "who cares just spend the money or quit". Then we have players who only play Ironman to try to stop the advertisement. This is where I say it started.

@ you don’t need to take 23 minutes to explain what everyone else has explained in 5, Jagex cared enough where they won’t be adding this without them taking a risk of losing enough business to hurt them. I’ve been around this game for nearly 20 years, they have time and again shown that they are both willing to ignore the community and listen to them, with the backlash they have received from this, it would only hurt them further to go through with their plans. Whether or not you believe the CEO or Jagex team they aren’t stupid, they will make the decision that is going to keep both the community happy and still make themselves money. You completely and utterly ignored that fact. They’ve already gutted themselves multiple times. At this point just quit the fucking game if you think it is dead, you clearly have no understanding of the way Jagex operates around situations like this. They don’t learn their lesson but they already know that they cannot implement this without killing off the rest of their bot riddled, entitled fan base.

@@WidowedGaming i did, at 6 rn, i slacked on farming so cant get my hespori yet, but from what ive seen echo hespori and KBD both look very doable for me so that would put me up to 8. and yeah i do like the KBD echo items for sure.

yeh im stuck fast on 8 too! colosseum and inferno gonna take a lot more practice for me to get down but weve got 7 weeks yet! for farming make sure you do garden of death, then personally i did tithe farm, but trees are also not bad with the 5x growth rate if you have seeds from birdhouses or perilous moons
