I have a 2023 300 tbi, it’s great in every way for me, except the random bog/cut out of power that seems to plague a handful. Did it on a jump face. A dudes new husky on a facebook group did it on a jump and he broke his shoulder. It’s like the kill switch is hit when you grab a handful of throttle. Some kind of electrical glitch, either fuel delivery or power valve, map reset…something. It’s very random and when you least expect it. Again, best bike I’ve ever had except this issue.

I like the crf450 bein a heavy guy like me,its not a geared 2 stroke enduro slayer wich id eventually kill weighing it down!!big & powerfull... harder wearing still good on the trails you just need to learn how to ride it.

it also is caused by the fluids, clutch drag works off the same principals that a tesla turbine works

my bikes front rim is 19 inches and all these tires you mentioned are only available for 21 inch rim like the whole world has to use a bike with 21 inch front rim? do you know of another choice for my situation

I use an old 8' 2x12, a metal milk crate and a 2 step stool to load my bikes. They are all old and rusty or crusty so I don't worry about any of them disappearing while I am out on a ride.

Quick question, does the 250xcw feel peppier and more playful than the 300? From the videos I’ve seen, the 250 xcw’s seem to like to be ridden a little more aggressively than the 300xcw. I like a little low end torque, but I also like smacking the throttle and getting a pretty quick hit out of the corners on the single track we ride. I find myself trying to keep my 2020 300xc in the powerband. Only thing is, I don’t wanna give up the oil injection and larger stator in the new bike so I’m definitely choosing an xcw instead of the xc. So I’m really just curious which bike will be happier being ridden more aggressively, the 250 or the 300 and if one does it better than the other?

Another thing to add, especially for new riders, is that an owners manual and service manual are two different things. And that service manuals have everything you need to know.

I’m 5’5 120lbs and looking between this or a 125. I normally ride fast but enjoy tight technical trails too.

My old srs 2 were really tight on a 9.5 uk so i bought srs3 10.5 and they feel huge. Think i need to try 9.5

A buddy of mine who is a mechanic, has been riding for decades and has had several KTMs hates the new tbi. He claims the engine is noisy and has a clatter. He just doesn’t trust it. Do you agree?

My racing buddy has one with 56hp here in Florida trail riders racing a hare scramble did three laps with 18% left over, about thirty miles. We think that is good enough for amateurs.
