Call it what you will, but this is NOT an international airport,and more so under NDC. They lie to the ,sadly,chiefs who have no clue what goes on beyond their tiny enclaves ,and the giddy and excitable people ,that this was all a dream...,a sweet dream gone wrong. This airport will never attain "international " certification until the runway is extended by another ,at least ,3000 meters
