No overnight salt brine? You don’t know what you’re doing.

Perfect perfect perfect guidance on the temps. Most KZbin chefs do the initial cook to 125 degrees and then sear WHICH OVERCOOKS THE STEAK! Taking it off and then searing to 120-125 gives the steak plenty of time to develop that beautiful crust without overcooking. While searing I like to baste the steaks in a rub-infused oil and then apply a finishing coat of the infused oil while it’s resting to give it additional flavors.

The only oil anyone should ever consume is Olive (and yes, it's not a cooking oil but healthier...all other oils are a no-go). Cloves of garlic are better and throw in some butter and Thyme while cooking.

Gas grill, no thanks... Charcoal all the way baby! Your fire isn't hot enough to get a truly nice sear, aka maillard reaction... Also, garlic powder just burns off...

Cooking steak on anything other than a wood fire. Shame. Maybe a cast iron skillet with butter I could live with. But letting residual gas residue into your beautiful steak? Nah.

My dad had a wonderful way of cooking it. Hed slap them on a hot grill, grab a cold one, start cracking jokes with my uncles on the dock, maybe go for a swim with my mum, then a nap, then another cold one, and once they were resembling shoe leather, out came the HP. Good times.

Bro looks good, but you definitely should do the salt and pepper the night before and get a meat tenderizer and beat your meat. Haha. Then the next day put it on the grill. Sometimes I even add a little bit of beer, some lime juice and even orange juice to help marinade that sucker the night prior.

you accually dont want to put the steak on the highest temperature place, cuz you dont want "grilled marks" (burned marks). For steaks its accually best to have spinning grill, so you can use hotter and colder places so you can have accuall good sear but not burned meat

Your grill grates are upside down, the flat side should be up giving you wider grill marks
