BEFORE YOU DO THIS: To those who don't have or know how to install the settings/parameters back after the reset, DON'T DO THIS. I had to find out the hard way. However, if you have an programming "bug" in the machine, like the axis motors not operating to speed all of the time, this fixed that issue for me. But now, I do not know how to set everything as it should be back at the right parameters to use my machine, its way out of whack now. If you can find a way to save the parameters to a USB before you reset and you know how to upload it back, be sure to do that first. I'm no computer genius, so I'm a little lost and searching for help at the moment.

thanks for your videos! I noticed that when I repeatedly cut the same design, the cut tends to gradually move a few millimeters down the Y axis and therefore the cut does not always reposition itself in the same point. What could be the problem? Thank you for your answer!

Hello your configurition information complety false i think. İts only suggest, It completely removes the rdwork program files from the computer and then reinstalls them. Then enter the vendor's settings into the RD8888 and use it. Then save the settings you made to the computer, read them again on the right side (maybe someday), save the settings in a folder. These read the factory settings of your machine. Make sure the screen origin setting is in the same position on the program and device

If you have changed the factory settings on the device or formatted it, talk to your vendor and learn the parameter values of the device from them or request them as a file and save it in vendor settings.

I have the HL-1060S 80W, I asked for support a few years ago because my chuck rotary was not working, no one told me about this. The support person said it should be work just adjusting the settings in Lightburn (diameter and steps). Is it possible this work these days for my laser machine? or it does exist a different way to make it work?

What is the white tape material that is used? I purchased one of these machines and it came with a roll of white tape, but upon inspection, it is a white backing for clear tape to mark measurements in in and mm for the bed, to Line up materials. I tried masking tape and paper, and they just burn and make a mess..

update: I used the PULSE button on the controller, taped a piece of cardboard over each location with much better results. my machine came aligned from the factory, and alignment was still okay. but there was some oily debris in the nozzle, which made a dark spot on the focal lens inside the nozzle. took apart the nozzle, and ended up having to use toothpaste (not ideal) to clean the spot off. but it worked, and now my laser is working about 4X better. IMO this is worth having a look at if you buy a new laser cutter from HL laser. I'm very happy with the machine overall. it's everything I hoped it would be and more. so far a good experience overall. you can spend 4X or 6X as much and get a better machine, but for everything I want to do, it is just perfect. I was actually very impressed with the quality for the price and would buy from them again. very good customer service, before and after the purchase! been wanting one of these laser cutters for over 6 years now. finally got it working perfect, after a few days learning curve. very nice!!!! :)
