I credit the Valmet/Sisu engines for allowing Agco to still make “red” tractors. Without it I think the Massey line dies off.

Is the upper feed auger a non standard add on, or was it available on later powerflow tables?. Looks similar to whats on the Claas convio headers. 20+ years since I worked on Massey combines, but still like to 'keep my hand in' by watching harvest videos on youtube.
@bluetractorboy686 ай бұрын
I believe it was an option. Is brilliant for OSR but does make the powerflow header a little heavy. No t many Massey combines in our area.
@robertallen34416 ай бұрын
@@bluetractorboy68 When I started in 1974, Massey combines were among the best available and probably 50% of farmers ran them in this area . Unfortunately Massey rested on their laurels while other manufacturers developed higher output machines which the larger farms required.

HI sorry for late reply. I was always a fan of the earlier SAME tractors, Hercules and Trident etc.. The Same Silver is not common in the UK and does take some getting used to. Agree that the linkage is a bit fiddly but found the tractor was very capable.
