I’ve played this game twice, and I swear, I never heard any of these radio broadcasts. That’s why I was so upset with the ending. It felt like it came out of nowhere because I never heard anything leading up to it. I actively listened for it the second time, and I still didn’t hear any broadcasts until the postgame.

A very underrated game! I hope one day we can see more from this...:/

Couple of comments/questions. #1 Where is the jammer device? I have only found the kill switch. #2 How do you rescue Brown before facing Victor? #3 I have never gotten to where Victor actually blows up the buildings. How do I get to that? Thanks, awesome video.

I remember really enjoying listening to the radio and taking long drives while playing. On my way to the church after killing Faith my time driving turned from relaxing to melancholic. I just thought the radio was just weird when in Faiths region the way songs are different for each lieutenant. I didn’t know it at the time but the drive over and the actual ending would fuck me up dude

all these radio broadcasts are a description of everything surrounding the events leading up to the nuke's impact. the cult and joseph took power because the world was fragile. the collapse was a very real thing. it's how and why the peggies formed. it's basically an army of fucked up people from all walks of life finding pupose and something to grasp a hold of as everything falls apart. it's a twisted sect of christianity formed by abused and broken people. i see the game as a warning of what could potentially happen if people aren't careful

I got a different ending. It was similar to the second ending in the video, but I didn’t have any other option than to fight him. I still saved both Brown and the buildings. Is it a bug?

It's a neat alternate theory. The existence of a spin-off game where the literal MC from this game is there though kind of negates all of this, though. Joseph could carry with him stickers and sharpies to deface everything with a PEG logo too, people do that nowadays walking through the street why wouldn't a cult leader carry a sharpie and some stickers in his pants (sorta-kidding here, but defacing those two things isn't THAT wild either). He could've ducked or escaped (FC villain slipperyness) before the tree hits the car and everyone dies and then kidnaps you into the bunker too. While neat to find an alternate theory, I'm not really buying it due to the rest of the worldbuilding stemming from the actual secretly purported nuclear war all throughout the radio broadcasts in the game and the actual nuking in the ending.

Fo some reason everytime I play it lets me do both every single time. No matter what I do it doesn't let me fail. I tried waiting after stopping one event to see what happens if the other happens but it always lets me stop both. I don't know why.

I found it fucking crazy then and now I find it even more crazy that people still believe North Korea is a threat to anyone. All you do is offer a 3 course meal to their soldiers if they surrender and just watch.
