I have this weird feeling that I'm staring at someone that could either be a Ukrainian or Russian soldier, some poor soul thrown onto some god-forsaken battlefield where he will become just another casualty, another digit to be added to a growing list of horror and pain. But even if he survives the battles, the politicized and sanctioned murders of his fellow man, something will be left broken and dead inside him. He will carry the war with him long after the politicians and their parasitic friends in the arms industry have decided they've had their fill of the slaughter. He will be a dead man walking, carrying some of the death he had inflicted and evaded with him until at last his mortal coil is also cut.
