Been going to see Buddy for a long time. Ric is a huge part of the Show! I see him as the future leader of a Buddy Guy Band or Experience. Got to visit with him awhile, after a show in Tulsa. Super cool and pleasant. He'll have a great career, no matter what. He has met EVERYONE in the industry.
@jeffRey702 ай бұрын
Ric Hall is amazing but I was shocked to learn he is a lot older than I thought. He's been touring with Buddy for about 30 years now so not sure if he will keep touring with the band which was my hope too.

It doesn't get any more to the point than what James subscribes to in this song. America is nothing more than a bunch words written down on some old pieces of paper store in Washington that we're supposed to subscribe to and uphold. Well what happens when the majority doesn't want to uphold or subscribe to those words any more? It's simple pretty simple. "We're all in a hell of a mess".

Only saw KWS once at Great Woods in Mansfield, Massachusetts opening up for Jimmy Page and the Black Crows back on 07/02/2000. Blue on Black and Abaline two of his show stoppers, especially Abaline played on a resonator guitar. 👍

If you`re claim to fame is riding the coat-tales of a famous player then your claim is false.

Let the man play. Even if he copy's other guitarist's styles he's still one hell of a guitar player, and people are willing to pay to see him play. Joe Bonamassa, as great as he is, has made a career out of copying other guitarist's styles. That's why he's on nobody's list of great guitarists. Never played an original lick in his life, but still a great technical guitarist who can duplicate most any other guitarist's style.
@Valhalla62576 ай бұрын
Yer logic would put SRV in the same boat as KWS jus stupid brotherman
@Slush245 ай бұрын
Can he play ? Yes ....... but it's all rinse and repeat . It's the same blues licks over and over with no excitement or originality. I just get so bored with this stuff.
