i was 14 when i saw "Furyo" and discovered Mr Sakamoto and his music. In my teen age, "Merry Chistmas Mr Lawrence" had the same weight on my heart like The Cure, Joy Division, the soundtape of an eternal autumn, when the leaves fly in the wind, and the resonance of a never-ending question... Listening to this piano session shows the pure beauty of music and the infinite talent of a music genius, Mr Sakamoto. He was able to translate thoughts, fears and hopes, pains and joys into music... Like a few others today, you are greatly missed. Today and tomorrow...
