Mansion is definitely the hardest mission in the first game.

What a hidden gem this band is

One of the most underrated game series of all time. Such a shame the studio got shut down last winter when they had plans to make Timesplitters 4.

I think this was the first game I played where I knowingly played as the bad guy. The actual first game I played where you played as a bad guy was either Contra or Super C. Though I suppose you aren't playing as the bad guys in those games technically. You're playing as soldiers in the army of a government ruled by the bad guys and I think that counts though.

6 years late I know, but the Famicom has a controller with a microphone in it, which was not included in the NES machine. There is a stage in Zelda on the Famicom where you need to shout at the controller, but it was modified for the NES so you didn't need to do that. That first game that gave no input response to fight may have used the mic. Not saying it would have, but its a possibility.

love these games and praying for the rewind to come out, i didn't notice it in the vid and not sure if you knew but in TS1 pressing R2 with guns like shotgun or sci fi pistol allows an alternative fire which for example shotgun decreased the spread drastically I believe and the sci fi i think the bullet do not reflect with that mode. Bit rando I know but great vid great series! top job.

Little me simply thought "Mama" and "Papa" sounds too childish and also unpersonal (like they're not just any Mama and Papa, they're [my mom's first name] and [my dad's first name]) and I like my parent's first names. 😂
