Prashna Lagna degrees are never in ghati palas. It is the time in ghati and palas. Since we don't measure time in ghati palas anymore. I wonder the use case for this. I wish to see an end to end example, you may refer my book. Vedic Astrology Master Practitioner Manual.

I have one more doubt sir, the example chart i recreated on jhora. The gulikan is showing in Gemini, not capricorn. Am I missing something here? Is there another ayanamsa used?

@@jyothivijayakumarstudio Many people interchangibly use Mandi and Gulika. I am not sure how JHora treats it. Curious if you know the method used by JHora to calculate Gulika?

@@vsro555 im not sure of the calculation. However, i just checked on another app called jyotish app. There too gulika is in gemini and mandi in cancer. And in Divya chakshu, its showing as Virgo! Sonwas wondering, if the change is due to ayanamsa. But thank you for responding. I shall read up on brihat jataka method of calculating.

@@jyothivijayakumarstudio I use Maitrya because it also provides the documentation of the calculations. According to Maitreya the Gulika is 9:11:29. I use Krushnamoorti Ayanavsha.
