My wife and I are an older couple and we’d enjoy having a little Metro Convertible to tootle around in during our summer months here in north central Washington state. We’ve been looking at a low mileage Miata as well, but that’s a totally different automobile. I bought a new 1990 Miata. It was Red with a Tan top and Tan leather interior. I sold it in 94 and bought a new Metro hatchback because I needed something to pound miles on. I put 210K miles on my 94 Metro in only 2 years. It took me 13 years to put only 95K miles on my 96 Metro. Enjoy your day and keep my lil 93 Metro Convertible in good shape for me 😁.

Really cool. Do you still have it? How difficult was it to rebuild the engine? Internals hard to come by? How about other parts?

still have it, 5 years now! engine rebuild just took time and patience, some parts are easy and others are very hard.

This is amazing. I have a 1991 CP21S that I absoalutely love. Chasing down a intermittent ignition fuse blowing now though. Can you share what radiator that is? What is the best site you've found for buying parts from japan? Yahoo Japan using Buyee has been treating me pretty well but I'm just looking for other options Absoalutely love those wheels Mine came with some 13" SSR MK3s which look great too. Great car! I'm going to find you on instagram now!

It's a custom exhaust. Straight 2" pipe from the downpipe back, and a Blox mini muffler (2.5").

Where did you source the monster sport ecu from? I’m building out a wagon r with the same f6a motor and might need it for when I put on a bigger turbo. Also hypothetically how would you go about putting an external wastegate on the car if you could? Or is the engine bay to tiny. Also what exhaust is that? Or did it come with the car.
