Very Cute. I have seen shutters inside of houses like that though. I keep a memory spread where I draw images for what happened on that day, and I keep a memory key on the next page, just in case I don't remember what the image was for to challenge my memory in the future. I am confused on why you colored in the sky on the right side of your weekly pages, but then cut it out. was that just a goof, or did you use it somewhere else, that I missed?

Thank you! Oh well that's good, I was thinking it might have seemed weird that it was an outside window looking to another outside scene, but I don't really mind lol, it's cute. Oh that sounds like a cool idea for a memories spread! Yeah it was just a goof with colouring the sky, I forgot I was doing Dutch doors and kept going 😅

Wow amazing spread! I did soft muted/pastel clouds as a theme last june. But its so nice to see the same theme look so different. I loved how you used the watercolor paper cut outs. It would have saved me so much time hahaha. What amazing creativity on your end. Beautiful journal spreads!

Thank you! The journal is from Notebook Therapy and the paper is very thick and high quality, good for all sorts of pens and paint ☺❤

Super helpful review! Especially that they are bright rather than earthy. What was the spiral bound paper you used? I've read you need smooth paper to preserve the brush nibs, and prevent fraying.

Thank you! I'm glad you found it useful ☺❤ This paper is Windsor and Newton 150g/70lb cartridge drawing paper, it has medium grain but tbh you probably want something even smoother. A lot of people recommend Rhodia notepads for brush pens and hand lettering.

Thanks, I totally forgot I have a plain Rhodia pad AND a Canson XL marker pad! From what I remember they were nice for writing but didn't appreciate water being added to doodles or other drawings. I think watercolour paper will be too rough but I did find a Daler Rowney smooth cartridge pad. Good excuse for a trip to the art store to have a look :)

@@garfield1935 Ah yes, the Rhodia stuff is a bit thin for adding water I believe, but you can get some smoother watercolour papers that might be suitable. Happy hunting ☺

Thank you 😊❤ throughout the rest of the journal I create a new set up each month that I use as a more in depth diary, it has a calendar, to do list and habit trackers among other things. I usually fit 6 or 7 months in one journal before starting a new one. You can see all the videos showing my designs each month on my channel 😊

They're my favorite format of reading ☺ I just finished a pirate book called The Adventures of Amina al-Sirafi, it was good fully of action and adventure ☺ I definitely can't choose a favorite, they all look soooo good!
