Looks terrible! You have to look good as a street patrolman. Not a special force Ranger?. My police dept. Use First line defense belts and HSG pouches. And on SWAT ONLY. The ability to engage targets from close to far is important because if a threat is close you must deal with it asap, and then transitioning to another threat incoming. We were also working height over bore with close targets.

There are more chest rigs that are more streamline than this for sure. I did rearrange the end pouches to more of the center and placed flatter pouches on the ends so arm movement is less restrictive. It’s all part the training with the rig to get it to a point where it fits like a glove.

I just recently got the amap 3 attached to my plate carrier as well as the sapi. I was concerned it would drag the back down. But it definitely has not disappointed. For context this is without a helmet inside the flap of the amap 3. Just wanted to share that small update if you’re considering that piece of equipment.
