I want to thank an old flame, Bill Farber, for turning me on to this band. We both saw them for the first time together and were blown away!!! We tried never to miss another one in Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska. I Got to see The Hacienda Brothers 6 times!!! In a bar!!! A euphoric experience. Every time. Thank you Bill😘😘😘I just learned of your passing 😢 and this very randomly came up. I know it’s a sign from you because: “ We’ll always have the Hacienda Brothers. “.......

And after being acquitted of assault (this was Texas after all) for shooting the man in the face, Billy Joe told an audience this hours later. He said I hope we can meet and get past this and be friends again. I'm gonna ask for my bullet back. The nerve of him getting famous for carrying my bullet, he's stealing all my press!

I've known Bobby since our San Antonio days in the 70's. I played in a few country bands that shared a stage with Bobby at places like the Poteet Strawberry Festival and Pleasanton Cowboy Homecoming. He is the absolute best there is.
@aprilwaller965310 ай бұрын
My Dad told me about the Poteet Strawberry Festival! We were on our way down to MD Anderson, I got to hear several hours of “Stories from the road” 😂Before he passed away, he told me so many stories and all the amazing people and musicians he met throughout his life. He appreciated every one of y’all, and still does from the other side. Thank you for loving him as much as we do!
