That 85 mph was achieved with a 300r for sure. And I know its max rating is a 250 but they weigh the same.

@@lfcskater for sure, that's why I suggested trading the merc in for a yamaha 250 sho, flash it to a 300, then proceed to wet your pants, as the chine walks right out of control lol.

It's a really cool boat, but it's not breaking 70 even with a 250.

@@stopcrying518 It's literally listed on their website as a 73mph boat with the 250. And it isn't a v-hull, so it WILL do 70 plus. It did mid 60's in the boat test magazine review on KZbin with the 200hp.

@chriscouture1570 I've been a tracker/nitro owner. I honestly think they have an awesome product but those speed ratings are worth about as much as a moldy mushroom. With a rig like this, you'd be shocked at how little difference 50hp makes.

Same hull design, Alpha is 5" longer, and 4" wider at the beam. The alpha is 37 pounds heavier. The Alpha comes with higher quality materials INSIDE the boat, like a fiberglass console, while Tracker's is plastic. THIS is how Tracker gets it's prices low. The quality of the hull is great, everything else is dime store, chinese shyte. Tracker is the poor mans bass boat, and that's FINE! This Savage 215 will draw a wider crowd into tournament fishing, as this boat will be competitive on the tournament circuit. Not to mention, it's capable of doing mid 80mph's if trimmed/loaded/driven right. You may not see that in the promotional videos, but I was talking to my dealer, who was shown prototype videos. They got the Prototype Savage up to 85mph. A *****F'ing aluminum 21' bass boat****** that is capable of 85mph in the right setting? That's INSANE. The fact that you can get that, for a base starting price of $54085us with the 250 pro xs....is just....unreal in this day and age. I think that's worth a plastic console, and cheap carpet, don't you?

They can't provide you with the Yamaha option, as White River Marine owns Mercury Marine. Imho there should be an anti trust investigation done into this, as White River Marine has quite the monopoly on the market lol.
