Im waiting for 5ghz ESPs to finally come to market. they have been out for about a year. Nothing on 2.5 is usually worth the attack

really wish it was 5ghz

5ghz is a tough one, especially with dual band. Even with Kali Linux people are struggling. WiFi5 and WiFi6 are impervious to deauth attacks unless you use a modded Void11 among other methods, even on a desktop environment it can be difficult. Lots of Kali boys even waiting for ESP-C5 to be released.

Get a laptop/desktop, a dual band network adapter, see if you can send packets. The target you're trying to attack probably is a dual-band network, which means you'll need an WiFi adapter that supports dual-band. If you have one and can send your packets to network and it still won't struggle, this network is not vulnerable to deauth attacks. If its not dual band, and the 2.5 isnt struggling with the laptop, then its simply not venerable to deauth. same test can be done with just the 2.5ghz, if it doesn't struggle then it wont work. If it struggles, the ESP8266 isnt good enough, if you are using an ESP32 try an ESP8266.
