I didn't know Laverdas could fly but they do look good. I know I had two wonderful laverdas. 1200 T and an RGS. HAPPY DAYS

so what happened at the end - did Piero's V6 conk out

No - it's a Laverda so reliability is never in question 🤣. Piero failed to negotiate the adversely cambered Cruickshank's Corner on May Hill. He hit the garden wall, fortunately without injuring himself. The V6 suffered bent forks and fairing damage.

Laverda where a beautifully bike,the onli anomaly it has cast iron heads because Mr Laverda said that the heat must be contained inside the cylinder.
