I think I remember this interview... watched Muchmusic back in the day... and you go Foo Fighters, U2, and Oasis... that is mighty powerful group of people to be around in 1997

I've been following the Foos since 2010, and never really dwelled too much on Pat's departure. This is the first time i watched it unfolding "Live", and i have to say it was heartbreaking for me. I'm glad he came back to the Foos, after so long, and just in time for Wasting Light.

In the still shot picture of Grohl by the Norris the mtv guy lol Dave with short hair in that particular picture looks like the boy from the TV movie the paper boy 😂 it was a made for TV movie that would be played on the USA network back in the 90s a lot lol 😂 and I mean a lot I believe it was made in 94 or 95 an called the paper boy an he was a crazy creepy kid that would kill people but yea Dave looks like him in that picture

The song he's talking about there is My Hero which does have williams drumming and his both in it. But yes we all know what happen to the rest of the album XD

I really think it was a dock move on Dave’s part even though so love him. If you really listen to the Colour and Shape demos Williams drum parts sound almost exactly the same as what ended up on the album and Dave admitted to selfishly redoing the drums just because he didn’t wanna let go being a drummer and lied to William about coming to LA while they were doing re recordings while he stayed and wanted to keep it a secret until Nathan decided to tell Will. Dave liked William and wanted him to stay but god damn. I wish William at least got credits for creating the drum parts instead of just getting small credits for barely playing in 2 songs
