This narrative is enforced across religions , cultures and races. Its worse as women enforce this by shaming man into it sometimes. According to this narrative first we are our fathers possession ,then boyfriends and eventually husbands. There isn't. I've since even learnt that mlangeni and molakeng come from the same house. Changed the spelling and pronunciation by geography caused by a few factors, including colonialism.
