No not adhd. This is a common confusion between adhd and ocd tendencies and behaviours. ADHD is very different and is rarely induced by environment rather environment enhances the symptoms. Whereas ocd is commonly a response from stimuli and trauma situations that create situations for the brain to become dependant on a specific set of stimuli to keep it happy with endorphins

This is an incredible description of the process. In some ways, all of our memories are lies because they are jaded by bias or emotion. Trauma emotion being a huge factor. Could a good memory have been better w out the trauma? Was a bad memory worse because of trauma? Was it actually just all terrible because a parent was way more terrible than we realized at the time? I’ve been looking into genetics as well lately and how that effects our perceptions even from birth. It’s astounding.

Oh man, how Steph said the calm opened possibilities for more choices. That is so real. People don’t really understand that when we begin to let light in, we can actually see things. The more we move further out of the darkness of our trauma, the more we can let more light in. And the effect continued to unfold from there. True enlightenment. Knowing thyself. Such a great comment girl. Thanks 🎉
