As a GM player since OW1 , s1(high 80s, then s2 gm+) all the way up, This is why these unranked to gm challenges aren't anything more then entertainment, they dont actually SHOW anything. It doesnt matter what hero it is, most times you place high elo BECAUSE you are already good and have years of aiming, pro play etc under your belt. 15 games > GM. That alone says it all. We will never experience the amount of crap the lower elos have to go through or at least in a VERY VERY VERY diminished scale. We will never struggle in climbing, i wanna see bronze > gm, show the carry, show the skill gaps, show the horrible teammates who die once and decide its a gg and throw the rest of the game, show the leavers, the trolls, the one tricks, the refusals to swaps, the tank who keeps going in 1v5'ing, show the dps who is 4 and 13. That would be way more of challenge someone showing their improvement and climbing through ALL the crap. These show nothing of merit other then entertainment and even then it isnt that much considering we already know the outcome of a t500/pro player shitting on casuals.
