If you want to change the light bulb: there's a white ISH rubber band stopping the bulb falling out. Whilst it's still in the ceiling, push the bulb upwards and pull the rubber band out.

Can you use this for television cantilever bracket?

I just fitted this but thanks to the sloppy hinge mechanism there is 20mm play side-to-side, measuring at the front. Nothing to do with the fixings which dont move a mm. Have i just got an unusually bad one or are all the hinges this loose?

Its a genuinely matt paint too unlike other hardwearing paints such as crown clean extreme and dulux diamond which have a slight sheen to it, probably because they have polyurethane added to the standard acrylic. However the leyland doesn't have the class 1 scrub rating (iso 11998) which means it can't handle 10,000 scrubs like the crown extreme can but the extreme is more expensive.

Well designed and tough lights with a decent amount of ligh output, but it seems there is a common electrical fault with these lights, i bought the highest capacity light which has just completely failed after around 18 months of moderate use. It started failing a little after 12 month use and would only work whilst plugged into the mains power which sort of defeats the object of paying more for a cordless light! These are not cheap lights i paid £69.99 at the time of purchase i believe they have gone up in price since i bought mine and are around £80 for the higest capacity light. Im dissapointed that mine has failed. I wont be buying another to replace it,i will look to other alternatives. To be honest ive had a few Erbauer products and they dont seem well made to me not even for the diy'er certainly not a proffesional tradesperson.

Terrible pumps, very noisy. I recently returned one after 5 months because it got so loud. I had registered it on their website. I could not return it as the retailer insisted I had to contact Salamander for the return. They have insisted that I remove the lagging and tank lid for the cold water system in the attic and take photos of it with a tape measure to prove it's big enough, photos of the hot water tank, S flange, tank thermostat, pump in place. Send them photo after photo so they can try their best to stop the return of their faulty item. Their customer service is quite aggressive in stopping the return of a faulty item. They have had to send me a new item which I have just installed. I have had to take video of the old pump making a very loud noise and of the new pump because I know they will try to say there's nothing wrong with the old pump when they get it back. What other company insists you take photos all round your house to return a faulty item? DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THESE CRAPPY BUILT CHEAP NASTY PUMPS.

Mine keeps coming away every day not sure if the clamps are faulty. Everyday have to stand on a chair click it in, very bothersome. The light is amazing neat and modern.
