My local shop is doing pre-orders. I was the first one here (me and the shop owner) to put our orders in. Were both getting the prime with optic. Now we just gave to wait about 6 weeks... Ugh.

For those who don't know the guy in the suit is Byron Rodgers, He's a former Marine, he owns a security company and works in executive protection, he arguably has some the best information on Executive protection for those who are interested .

Good looking gun, but I have questions / issues. How much velocity loss does the porting create? For a slimline compact gun, the grip is too long. For a carry gun grip length is the most critical dimension. It should be no more, and better, less than a G19, while still offering a full, three finger grip. This gun is taller than the G19 (both with no optic.) Finally, I want a manual safety in a carry gun. But I know a lot of carriers don't. How's this for an idea. Sell all the guns without a manual safety, but design the guns to take a user installable manual safety kit. Then sell the kit separately. Do this with all the poly striker guns. This way you don't need 2 SKUs for each model, and anyone who wants a safety can have it.

Well, I like this a lot so far and this is a strong contender for a replacement for my holosun EPS6. Love the holosun, but I need one with a solar cell for more autonomy. The EPS MRS isa choice, but if caniks quality despite low cost can be measured by their amazing guns, then this should be great.

Played around with them at SHOT show. They are a thing is beauty. the trigger... How does it get better with each release? and it's just built so solid and well. It's amazing how far they've become.
