Deontay Wilder problem was he was never a really good listener. You have one of the greatest heavyweights of any era (Lennox) teaching you how to throw a jab and he (Wilder)still never learned how to use it in any of his fights and this was posted over 11 years ago. The man had Mark Breland, probably the greatest amateur fighter in the history of USA boxing, Olympic gold medalist, and former welterweight champion of the world as your trainer and you still don’t understand the basic fundamentals of boxing? He relied too much on his power and never evolved as a fighter and the end result is what we have today.

This is when Wilder was still eager to learn and improve his craft. After he won his title in 2015, he thought he knew everything, stopped training like he used to, cut out all road work and he noticeably started to regress

Great scene. Hand first then step, like fencing. Deontay didn't get and Lennox didn't bother to explain either. Maybe it's the cameras, maybe because of something else.

Lennox would make an incredible coach… seen a few vids of him giving advice to other boxers. Has perfect temperament too

Lewis was a beast, why don't youngsters just listen to him. He tried telling AJ but he was to arrogant to listen. Lewis was the undisputed and last of the great heavyweights. He learnt from the best the was (Manny Steward) and is a living legend full of knowledge. Just listen to the man! One of the greatest Jabs in the history of boxing right there.

It's funny reading back on these comments.....He didn't learn a thing in the end. Its like he's been around the Kronk style with Lewis, Manny Steward, Mark Breland and still didn't pick up the style. By the time he got to Fury, he had forgotten all he was taught and what he was around. A shame really

Such a simple little thing as slightly adjusting the distance of your left closer to your opponent massively improves the jab. Incredible.

i believe this is the best jab ever, its just amazing people say Larry Holmes have the best jab but its not, this one right here in this video is the best jab
