This Man has survived so much, he lost his mother in 81' the same year he would barely survive a horrible motorcycle crash. And then in 94 as his music career started busting the charts a cyst was located in his brain and while he was fighting for his life in the hospital "Your Love Amazes Me" went number 1 on the single charts ! ❤️ Life is fragile respect and appreciate what and who you have.

Like a time capsule back to when life actually made sense, Country music was pure and authentic, Patty Loveless was always true to country standards. Wow has it gone to shit or what?

Absolutely beautiful from an era that was truly the best! Back when the singers were real and had talent, the 80s and 90s will never be paralleled. Thank you for this wonderful video a blast from the past.

Country music completely, and utterly died 15 years ago. Even Loretta Lynn acknowledged that. Now what do you have jelly roll and his porn wife, and Beyoncé

Boy, I forgot all about this video. Even though I have the album, I didn't remember this song very well. Chely Wright looks smoking in the red dress. It amazes me how many videos that Chely had. I wish Lari White and Ronna Reeves had that many videos. At least 5 of Lari's singles had no music video, including "Ready Willing and Able" and "Stepping Stone".

A song comes on the radio as I drive at 3 am through Omaha. Every station is either Counting Crows on repeat or a Country station, so absorbing Reba and Dolly Parton while you drive through the barrens of America becomes essential as the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Green Day unceremoniously leave the FM airwaves. A hobo sleeps on the sidewalk as I stop to the first and only red-light I'll see in this accursed part of the country, in his hands a ferret hangs down as if taunting gravity. Daryle, he warned you twice. You understand you have willingly broke the law and were given ample chance to make amends. The court wouldn't have called me if you called them first. My eyelids are too heavy, maybe it's just fatigue or maybe there's a siren like call that the midwest screams to keep us all here. Why go back to the east or west coast when the only unAmerican thing in San Fransisco or New York is the day-old sushi that would be more rotten in a South Bend airport than have digested in the skeletal remains of Emperor Hirohito. And let us not beat around the bush, bad sushi has killed far fewer people than the Japanese royal family. It's not like the family of pencil-mustached women that makes up Japanese nobility has contributed anything of value to the human world, even their experiments made the Nazis cringe with regret. Anyway, I made the drive through Nebraska due to this song coming up every like 30 minutes, and I now own enough weed to intoxicate every person in Detroit and convince them all they are "white enough" to vote for RFK. My local Petco has a sale on tarantulas, I don't actually want one but most spiders are worth less than 40 dollars, and if this clutch goes down in price just a little bit my ex wife may wake up to a couple spiders. Not in like an evil way, she collects weird pets. She raised a Canadian goose in our bathroom for like a year. Guys, Geese are bar none the stinkiest fucking animals by the way, just say no to geese. I am male, 40 years old and born in the great state of Ohio. I will be your next Vice President and the first thing I will teach all the Americans is how to shave properly - Americans never have enough fathers or father-figures to teach them to shave so I will do a Friday class every week until Americans know the things their fathers should of taught them- Like how to ignore scary movie plots so you can feel up a girl without feeling weird, how to see everything on the television without using the guide key, how to pretend to pull out while still cumming inside of a woman, and how to make that one dinner dish you know how to make (It's probably a form of spaghetti because your ass is broke). I'm also not allowed to have Adderal as it is an addictive chemical and clearly I do not need it as my speech is impeccable.

Man, I can't believe how many of these videos I had forgotten. I was a huge Chely Wright fan and saw her is concert in the Summer of 1994. She was wonderful. This is another video I did not remember, but it all came back to me pretty quickly. She did have allot of videos, more then I recalled. Never understood the lack of push and support from Country Radio. It took her years to get much airplay. I wish that Lari White had this many videos as Chely. She had comparatively few. Several of her songs had no video at all. Was so completely smitten with Lari. Hard to believe she is no longer with us. Practically all my favorites got shortchanged by Mean Spirited Radio. Lari, Chely, Kelly Willis, Ronna Reeves, Shelby Lynn, Suzzy Bogguss, James House, Allison Moorer, Radney Foster, Holly Dunn (Blacklisted before the end of 1991). List goes on and on. So frustrating. I would call a station and they would say, "That song's not on the playlist yet". Well Duh, I'm calling to find out why and when might it be going on the playlist?

I like the song but I think it was better then but my Mom didn't drive and my Father got off of work to those things and they didn't cut his pay. In the 1960's family was first.

You know you've made a positive impact as a new artist when you have these six ladies singing backup for you. Mary Chapin-Carpenter must've felt very overwhelmed while she was recording this song.
