Radial I suppose @35 psi max…why wasn’t it explained ?…
@bingobandit8 ай бұрын
Good video. I run my Ranger 900xp mostly in the desert on mining roads. My max psi is 20lbs. I have bead lockers so not too worried about tire rolling off. 15 psi seems to be perfect for riding everywhere I go, we are allowed to drive our rigs on streets here in AZ, so it a good pressure for street as well. We do take the rig to Sedona and ride the red rocks, so 10 psi there works for me.

To the defense of the factory welds, the tubing broke where you welded it in everyplace, y’all probably got the metal hot and made it fragile

Great video. When I load my ATV in the bed of my truck the tires slip on the ramp with itp black water tires. Will try these

Can this be added to a stock turbo s ? And if yes what benefits would I get ? Thanks

35 psi max to set the bead . I really doubt that’s 35psi max operational pressure. More like 18psi .
@EminentPerformance2 жыл бұрын
No sir. 35 psi is max operating pressure. I would think no one would run it there but it is fully capable of running that and some people actually do due to just not knowing.

I must have that cage and windshield. Where did you get it?

The cage is from Spangs Fab in Illinois. . The windshield was just a normal glass one we made fit the cage.

@silverviper21842 жыл бұрын
What turbo kit do you have. What did you end up setting the clutch weights at. Were you running race fuel or pump. thanks
@EminentPerformance2 жыл бұрын
That was stock turbo with big injectors. Clutch weights are going to vary machine to machine and I would have to dig up the number. But either way you need to set them to your specific machine (tire size, altitude, actual HP the machine makes all make it different). That was E85 pump gas. Its a common misconception that some how "race e85" is better. As long at it tests at the right levels it works as good from the pump as from a race can.

Remember everyone, first upgrades on a sxs are cage and harnesses. The buck-happy yxz especially needs some tuning to jump straight, that's for sure. Glad everyone was ok
@EminentPerformance2 жыл бұрын
I agree cage and harness are first things that any SxS needs. But that is not a YXZ. that is an X3 that was shortened 6" for XC racing.

Would insurance cover this as a totaled machine?
@EminentPerformance2 жыл бұрын
It would take a very special kind of insurance to cover it. You can get race insurance but as you would imagine its not cheap. Pretty much all other SxS policies I have ever seen exclude coverage when racing. Basically no they would not cover it at all.

what happen with the tires that comes with the rzr turbo s? The form of the tire makes that even at 30 psi touch all the ground.In this case It helps to lower the psi too? (On sand)
@EminentPerformance3 жыл бұрын
Yes it would still help to lower the PSI for sand. That tire on the Turbo S is a very squared tire so it does hold its contact patch a bit better than most.

I have had a talon for almost 2 years 7854 miles and nothing but change the oil and filters. I had 3 rzr's in that same amount of time and none of them made it past 500 miles without completely falling apart. Like I always say buy Japanese and you will be fine. No popo's or caned hams for me ever again.

I kinda don’t understand how it drops it lol doesn’t it put stress on the front of the cage ?
@EminentPerformance3 жыл бұрын
The rear hoop section is lower and no it doesnt put stress on the front portion. There is slack designed into the front mounts from the factory and it moves freely

@@EminentPerformance we were ther the next weekend. I was worried this was going to happen to my daughter in the talon on the second jump of the row of three on the straight. I’m glad y’all are ok.
@EminentPerformance3 жыл бұрын
@@XXGT500X The second jump nosed over as well the but first jump was the worst in those 3. I hit it going probably 60 mph (if you watch the video back you can see I flew much further than the other cars) and with that amount of time in the air the car just rotated to far forward. The wheels kicked hard left on impact. In slow motion you can see that I did steer all the way to the right to try to get it back but it was to late at that point. It happened real quick but the safety equipment did its job and we walked away from it.
@XXGT500X3 жыл бұрын
@@EminentPerformance yeah my daughter was hitting them around 48-52mph. Her first time on a track. She’s only 13. She did really well, but I was nervous for her because the talon nosed over on them pretty good at those speeds. Was worried she’d hit them faster and faster. That’s one of my biggest fears for her is an end over end toss over a jump.

Do y’all still run your tires at 10 PSI and how are you liking the carnivores ? I have Rzr 1000 and I’m looking at getting the carnivores tires as well.
@EminentPerformance3 жыл бұрын
For most applications we still run them between 10 and 12 PSI. (lower for more traction but you have to watch the rocks more). I love the Carnivores over all. They grip really well and seem to be pretty puncture resistant. They are a softer tire than some others so they will wear a bit faster on the roads. But nothing horrible. I would buy them again for sure.

This year Pro Mod times were down into the low 1:03's. That's over 2 seconds faster than last years times. And it wasn't long ago a 1:10 was flying. 1:03 lap times are insane on that track. I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to meet you guys I was so busy the entire weekend I never got a chance. I won the pro mod race this weekend. I was also in Iraq and Afghanistan.... I did battle damage repair for Oshkosh MATVs. I worked for Oshkosh Defence as a contractor for over 10 years. I wasn't actually in the military but but I was there with those guys and girls making sure the had a vehicle that was reliable and safe to go out in. I basically put my racing career on hold for 10+ years to go overseas. I've been back racing for a few years now, since I finally got stationed near my hometown Fort Bragg. Hopefully next race we can talk a little. Love what you're doing. Thanks Lance West

Thanks for the info. Sounds like the information I had gotten was a bit outdated. Either way I was ok with my times for the first time on that track and the first time being on a banked course. I can always improve. For sure hit us up when we are there in the future. I should be there pretty much all the races as well, it would be great to hang out and chat. Also glad you enjoy the content!
