This is one of my favorite animatics ever. I've first watched it about 5 years ago and it still feels my heart with cozyness

last year i knew this guy and we had become pretty good friends, he really liked coming of age films which were partially the reason that we became friends in the first place. he came out to me as gay one day and obviously i was supportive, but someone overheard him telling me and outed him to everyone in our class. after everyone found out, he started getting bullied (just verbally, not physically but it still impacted him a lot.) so i tried to help him find safe spaces and did whatever i thought would help to make sure he would be able to get through it, but i had also been dealing with bullying, along with school violence for quite a while. i never told him about it, so he didn’t know that i was going through something similar. he probably felt so alone, like there was nobody who could ever understand on the same level as him. i could’ve helped him more if i had just let him know i’d been going through something similar, that i understood. but i didn’t, i just let him feel alone because i was too scared to tell anyone about what i was going through. what he needed was someone to tell him that they understood, that they knew how badly it all hurt. he committed suicide around almost two months after the bullying had started.

This has made me so happy, and brought me so much joy, and made my week!!

i feel like this is about liking something and thinking that people will find you weird if you don’t hide it, or hiding your stuffed animals and “childish” side.
