I only have the first two, this number 3 is also impressive on this little Sega. Having digitized characters on Master system is something I wouldn't have believed without seeing it with my own eyes.

I didn't, due to it being a speedrun I skipped all the secret levels. Definitely worth it in a casual playthrough

Short but difficult game that you need to know well. The view is very original for the time. The big sprites were impressive.

You can beat the shinobi in 12 minutes! When I was a kid I played an entire afternoon and if I finished it I was sweating ink, amazing.

Is the slowdown a PAL 50hz thing? I'd love to play this, big fan of the Genesis release. The slowdown is horrible though.

This is played at NTSC 60hz. I agree, the lag is so bad and eats your inputs. Casually it's a good game though

I remember watching my brother play this when I was a child. He sank MONTHS into trying to beat this game. And when he finally did, it just said GAME OVER. WTF!??! It said the same thing as if you lost. We thought we did---we thought something was wrong with the game. LOL----worst ending ever.

@@radioactivemanfrommars7298 Not that hard I think,I don't really remember the difficulty,I played it at my grandma from my uncle,every Sunday we went to my grandparents,my uncle lived there to and he had a sega master system with like 30 games,me and my sister would play the whole afternoon multiple games.There started my gaming career,I'm now 42 almost and still game allot.Ive seen it al evolving.Memories man.

This is one of the rare SMS games that sounds better WITHOUT the FM card... even the enemy explosions sound completely different compared to the anime.
