Now that the ban list comin soon, ya gotta stack up to 3-4 Scrs and 3-4 Double striker Freezers. The Scr is what makes ya win vs Green and Blue. And if im you I would get 2-4 of the Cooler Extra card that gives you 20k power and rests someone for a turn.

Scrap the 2 cost gokus and put in 4 cost gotenks. It will make the deck far better. The gotenks grabbing 15 k from drop is underrated. You ll probably grab them 3 times one 1 game.

The Frieza 4 drop is really good imo, and the golden frieza scr is not good in this meta, you will fight topku 90% of the time and you will not play it, that card would have been awesome in set 1 meta.

Great video guys. Love to see in-depth discussions from knowledgeable players. I think roshi ban is great. I would also ban ribrianne just to make sure topku isn't still a problem. Also getting hit with a double striker for 1 just doesn't feel good from an enjoyment perspective.

I have kind of an unpopular opinion. I dont think topku is straight up tier 0, in every game that ive played has been complete auto pilot where the only time the deck loses is when its in a mirror i honestly think its .5 just because if you mess up the deck really punishes you. Other than that i agree with the majority of the points you hit even though personally id probably ban somethingn other than kefla or the leader.

I think the biggest problem with the format is that it's just a horrible look for the game. On top of the client being super scummy on giving out cards and hard to get product, it's so damning for the health of the game to have such an early, oppressive and unfun format. Like I get what's being said about the more competitive scene, but that'll matter less and less if the current trend keeps up with locals shutting down because nobody wants to play against topku

This game is not a good example to illustrate if this deck is good or not since Topku low rolled hard.

At 17:31 I honestly think you should have not summoned bulma and just summon 4 drop goku, and swing face and locking the whole board, then you combo the supernova with the one mana forcing 30k out of his hand and basically the 2 cards he got from life, and I strongly believe you’ll survive next turn, reason why I think this is better play is cuz the supernova has no value next turn to help you defend anyways so just make him throw hand size and he will end up with 4 hand size and struggle to even board control you unless he wants to have no hand next turn with literally one health

He couldn’t grab something of glimpse because I believe glimpse says you need a battle card with 30k or more. He bumped the leader so he doesn’t get the add back

The easiest way to nerf/balance Topku is to remove the draw from SR Kelfa. The fact it replaces itself is what causes so much pressure. Removing the draw will make it harder for them to aggro and to defend the following turn

you don't atk into topku, let him seppuku himself to 3 health, thats how you beat him. You just make the game harder for yourself when you atk him. Most of his battle cards need to atk to take the life awaken, so you just focus on controlling the board while he waste mana trying to seppuku himself to 3. control the board while you build your own board and when hes at 4, make him waste mana to awaken himself.

The fact that topku, for 5 energy, can play 14 energy worth of battle cards is just disgusting. Using the right cards, they can also draw an additional 4 cards with those battle cards is also disgusting. Bandai needs to do something or this game with certainly die

Think there's any chance of Topku getting nerfed? Was tempted to come back and drop some money on set 2, but not if the meta is worse than set 1 Broly spam.

I have a 100% win rate with Beerus into Topku I just control their board and keep them at 5 life until turn 7 By then I have like 2-3 android 17s on board and 1-2 klefas on board Even after I awaken them with poke from klefa, they have to commit 1 or 2 cards to even damage me I then have 5 drop ds goku to close out the game plus leader attack at 25k-30k attack.even if they manage to survive that hit. They still need to worry about 3-5 more attacks

No sense to protect battle cards that way in the firsts turns... The leader doesn't draw, your goal should be self-awaken asap to start drawing cards and control the board

I think you run too many Zenos. I’d get rid of the normal goten, black and double strike vegeta… I’d go down to 3 zenos and only 3 sickles, add the bulmas back, 4 drop vegeta, 1 drop vegeta, and 2 of the secret rare vegitos to give deck balance combo and viability. Id even take away one of the 3 drop gotenks, since you’ll be down 2 gotens. Add another 1 drop trunks for draw… maybe experiment w the 4 drop ss3 goku since the deck is majority saiyan (sickle counts as a saiyan for end game push) Love the content🎉!

I wish you played that Hand much better towards the end. If you wanted him to get rid of cards you should’ve never played the 6 drop Frieza. You had the double striker with the added extra buff. The opponent will sweat a lot more knowing he has one life left than two with zamasu.

I like playing vegeta for the challenge and i feel he is a decent deck when piloted right, however i agree with you lockdown just isnt as good as straight up removal.

Not playing final hope slash is wild tbh. Sometimes you wanna push damage on a different target than trunks, plus it's recyclable with pilaf as well
