Can somebody please explain to me why everyone is making outdoor wooden ramps fully level? Wouldn't you want it to be on a slight incline to make sure no water ever pools on the ramp and rots it to hell?!

I went in this cave almost 30 years ago, when I was about 14 and fearless. Spent about 5 hours inside and made it down to where the ice starts. Some of the rooms shown in this video look exactly like I remember them. And now, as an adult who's much more claustrophobic, and who's watched a few too many horror stories about people getting stuck in caves, the thought of doing it again absolutely terrifies me.

I don't think there's an airport nearby. I didn't ask permission to fly here, i don't know of any restrictions against it tho. I filmed the drone shots on a very slow day and at the end of our round just for fun. This is a top rated course around the area and a must visit spot!

Take the dogs past this place and I find it sad. It’s disrespect for nature. These “artist” don’t care about the environment. They trash the place and leave it for people who still care about nature to come clean it up. This is not an abandoned building that will be torn down and carted away. This place could be great but it’s defaced and a place for partying and drug dealers to come to. To me it’s sad.
@ChrisGranata2 ай бұрын
It's a unique spot. Everytime I've been here, there has been a good amount of people using the space as intended. It may be an eyesore to some, but I think all the paint attracts people to come and visit. There was several people taking senior pictures here on this particular visit. If you want to enjoy unscathed nature, this is definitely not the place to do it.

There used to be a ladder leading into the hall that gets to the bat room. Looks like it's gone. And the steel supports at the entrance weren't there about 5 years ago.
@ChrisGranata2 ай бұрын
From what I heard, I guess people were not obeying the closure dates for the bats so they caged it off and now it gets locked during the off season. A ladder would have been nice. I wouldn't want to do that section without a rope or ladder to get back out.
