My brother survived in 1968. What a wasteful war. It was led by idiot leaders just like today. Only in Israel there is ethnic cleansing for a land grab and supported by AIPAC recipients in Congress and the White House. I will never have any of my grandchildren fight for this country. I would rather my tax dollars go for housing and healthcare for America.

These women/men are the real heroes of each war and NOT the ones who went to a foreign country thousands of miles away to kill rape and destroy, especially when NO ONE invaded the soil of their country. PTSD wishes to all of them a happy after war life

I was blessed by having met these ladies, Great bunch. When ever I was able to get to the rear 85th evac. They wore 45s on hips.

Are we really supposed to believe those were "temporary" structures? Better craftsmanship than any other buildings in the city.

Sometimes I think veterans have no choice but to firmly believe they are fighting for the right reasons. It must be hard enough living with what you've been through, only holding onto sanity with the knowledge you did it for good reasons. Thinking you may have done it for bad reasons, not done the right thing, would be mentally crushing. So when veterans say they absolutely believe they did it for the right reasons, just leave it at that. Admire and respect their strength to live with traumatic events.

Nursing is not easy. It's your mind working in a bunch of different directions at once caring for peoples lives. This is one tough lady. She would make a good instructor.

29 years german here. I was always fascinated by organs, especially the pipe organ. Right now I wait for my first reed organ and I am happy, that there is so much information online, to restore it. 👍

✅ Good movie. All the medical people get a thumbs up from me. They get close to the action, sometimes right in it, like my dad in WW2, a medic in the pacific theater (New Guinea et al).

"the lone military superpower left in the world". Only the US think this... it would be nothing without Aus and Europe, that's where proper solders are raised. Not people who fly over Vietnam and napalm innocent women, children and babies, then think they can call themselves "vets" lmao.

Thank you. I cry from a different war. But the same reasons. I'm glad I was there. But the scars will never heal. I don't want them to. It reminds me of them and that time in my life.

I remember in 1970 taking one soldier to a Medevac Hospital who got hit by 105 booby trap.He had one hand blowed off and one hand okay but his legs are all messed up, his face was all messed up he had a tracheostomy so he could breathe.I held his hand very tightly and he with comfort.I was praying for this man. After we landed they come and pick him up but I never seen him again....I'm a Veteran of Vietnam (70-71) and Iraq ( 04-05) Wars . I was a door gunner UH-1 helicopter in Vietnam with the 118th AHC .
