Hey, nice informative video seems like a nice kit, do you know the physical dimensions of the model. How long and wide is it?

If you ever want to practice for this type of build you should have a go at the Flames of War tanks and armoured cars. They are 1/100 scale and will get you used to dealing with the more fiddly parts of the Bolt action kits, which are 1/56 scale. Also, if you find your fingers are not quite up to holding the really tiny parts, pop into a computer sales store and get a pair of reverse action tweezers. These work with the jaws clamped shut and you have to squeeze to open them. This means there is no pressure required by your hand to hold the part and it is only released when you squeeze the tweezers rather than accidentally releasing the part too soon. Cheers for the vid

Got to say, in the most basic sense you have provided some good instruction on the steps for assembling the figures. Especially good that you took the time to demonstrate the cleaning of the figures after they came off the sprue. So many guys don't even touch on that or play lip service by saying don't forget to clean them up. Now I am a regular gamer and builder so I know. But what you did was quite important to anyone new to gaming. I would point out your composition was out of kilter though. Your officer was pointing with one hand across his body while pointing his pistol in the opposite direction with his head sort of looking in the direction his pistol was pointed. Your anti tank gun is a two man team but you didn't build the second man or at least allude to the requirement. And the body you used for the FOO would have been more appropriate for the A/T gun. Perhaps a little narrative on planning your force before the build might be good in the future. I did this with my British late war infantry to co-ordinate the unit as a whole.

Hi. Thank you for your comment. I am glad you liked how we demonstrated the cleaning of the figures we want the videos to be there to help and assist new gamers into the hobby so they can get reasonably good results first time when they are building. I love to pass on my knowledge where I can from playing miniature games for a number of year. The idea on the builds was to show how easy the models are to put together and the combinations you could make at the end of the video we have a clip of all the models put together with them split into their units which will hopefully help a little in working out how you could build your force. Though I will take your comments on board and see how we can improve these in the future, thank you

I have a bunch of individual sprues from Bolt Action and Project Z that I got for a steal. Lovely we miniatures, especially for true 28mm. I'm only using them for kitbashing (a certain game where WW1 and WW2 soldiers seem to exist in space in the far future...) but they really are fantastic value and pieces. I'm looking forward to getting into them, have a pile of shame I'm tacking first, but I'm really looking forward to the project.

They really are some lovely sculpts which are great to put together and paint. I would love to know the name of the scifi game you are playing as that sounds really cool 😊

@@thegamingcircus 40K, though Kill Team rather than full armies, I'm using them to kitbash Astra Militarum (aka Imperial Navy, aka World War dudes) and Adeptus Arbites (aka Judge Dredd-ish).

I hope to see more videos. I have loved Mice and Mystics for years now and stumbled across these just last week. I am definitely going to collect the factions.
